Get comfortable in an air-conditioned vehicle as you start your journey toward the town of Fátima, a once-sleepy rural village that became an important pilgrimage site when three shepherd children reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1917. Visit the Sanctuary of Fatima, a basilica that honors the apparition and attracts millions of Catholic pilgrims every year who go to pay their respects to the shrine
Next, visit the 14th-century Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that illustrates the rich artistic heritage of the late 1300s. Discover the impressive royal burial site at the basilica’s Founder’s Chapel, where King João I, Queen Philippa of Lancaster and their son Prince Henry the Navigator were buried. Note that we only visit the main church area, which is free of charge. To visit the whole structure (which we don't have much time), cloisters included, an additional charge is required (to be paid by the client directly to the local ticket office).
A stop to enjoy the old town of Nazaré, site of miracles, visions and one of the best views of the Portuguese coastline.
Take a short break for lunch (own expense) in Nazaré, a quaint fishing town famous for its variety of restaurants and cafes. A popular summer retreat for the Portuguese, the village offers an interesting insight into local life. Short stop at the Nazaré cliffs to see the ocean views
Finally, make your way to the medieval village of Óbidos. Founded in 208 BC, Óbidos is commonly known in Portugal as the 'wedding present town', as it was a gift from King Dinis to Queen Isabel on their wedding day in 1282. Follow your guide to one of the numerous wine shops and sample the Ginja liqueur, and then enjoy free time to explore the village’s medieval fortress, narrow streets, colorful houses and Gothic doorways and windows decorated with flowerpots and dazzling tiles. Grab a snack or browse around the tiny shops that offer a varied collection of beautiful handmade ceramic art before making your way back to Lisbon.

Thank you Natalia for a great tour!! We had great time, and thank you for accompanying our big group of friends

Tomas was an amazing guide through each of our stops! He was super knowledgeable about each place, its history, the different regions we visited, and Portuguese history and culture overall - seriously, book this tour right now if you will be in the Lisbon area, and make sure to ask for Tomas :)

Fantastic day Excursion!!!!! Made us want to visit each place a 2nd time just to stay longer. Strongly recommend.

Our guide, Rui was fantastic....he kept our small group entertained and informed. We left on time and the van was spotless. Blessed to have a great small group to spend the day with. Only disappointment was there was a full day of events happening in Fatima with hundreds of people attending so we really couldn't explore the outside the way I would have liked. Obidos was phenomenal, Batalha Monastery was stunning and Nazare was beautiful. I never felt rushed at any of our stops. Highly recommend this tour.
-
Highly recommended worth a visit wish we could spend more time at Nazare as the time allocated was short

Was a small group (us and one other family). Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Each stop was interesting. My 13 yr old loved it.
-
Totally different experience from my 2019 experience. 7 got my tour also from Viator. Everything was rushed in my recent trip. . Nazare and a Bathala were 15 mins each just to see the place. In 2019, Fatima tour was 1.5 hours, Nazare and Bathala were 30-40 mins each. Also, on this trip, we spent more time at the Ginjinha place in Obidos- around 45 mins when we could have just done it for 10 mins. Tourguide was knowledgeable about we felt rushed by her time schedule. Not good trip for those who would like to spend time in Fatima also. Pretty disappointed.

The entire day was memorable. And our tour guide Nuno was fantastic throughout. The sights that we ventured to were epic. Fatima, Batalha, Nazare, and Obidos were all classic locations to visit and see. It was an everlasting great day. One I will not soon forget. Thank you Nuno...
-
Great tour guide Natalia. The only complaint is tat the visit to Fatima was a little too short. Other than that This was a memorable experience.

This was a really good day with each town offering a different experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and included everyone in the tour. There was plenty of time at each stop to do our own thing exploring
