We enjoyed a wonderful day with our guide, Joao. He was exacting in his promptness, driving, and making the day comfortable for us. He was also generous with the information at each of our four stops. All in all, we enjoyed the tour immensely.
It was a fantastic tour. It was long....10 hours but worth every minute! John was a great tour guide! He was very informative and had a fun sense of humor. Lots of variety in this tour. Loved the town of Nazere and Obidos was very interesting. I’ve been on lots of tours in different countries and this one ranks right up there at the top.
What an amazing tour!!! Joao Fernandes did a great job on this tour. First, we went to Fatina. He explained about the history, miracles an gave us enough time to pay ans reflect. Then we went to Batalha. Again he explained the history n importance of the place. We went to nazare an ate an amazing lunch. He recommended a local fisherman who also cook. Raymond was great n entertaining. Food was fresh fish, squid!! It was great. Our last stop was Obidos. A wonderful city. He showed us the differe t spots to see,. We wished we have more time on this tour but we understand that we did a lot for a day. Will definitely recommend n totally worth it to do this for.
Excellent day trip to get the highlights of these key sights. Gonzolo provided so much information about what we were going to see and since it was the Carnival holiday, made the itinerary so we could still do everything and not get caught in traffic and crowds. Such a great overview of this region. Highly recommend this trip if you are looking to see more of Portugal!
This was a wonderful experience! David was an expert on the history and stories surrounding all that we saw in Fátima, Nazare and Óbidos. I highly recommend!
Avery enjoyable day with our fun and very helpful tour guide Rui. Enjoyed the day and the fellow passengers and Rui made this a great way to spend a day getting to know the area. I highly recommend this smaller tour as opposed to the larger tours as it is much more personal and you get to interact more with your tour mates. Thanks Rui for sharing your knowledge and pride of your country.
Great trip! Mari, our guide, was knowledgable, fun and energetic. The itinerary included historical sites and showcased the beauty of the Portugal cosatline.
Not only the places we visited were beautiful but the driver/tour guide (Nuno Machado) was excellent. He had the right tools (Microphone) in the van and awesome communication skills in Spanish (language we had chosen) and Portuguese besides having a very positive attitude and always amicable, adaptable to the group and flexible. We believe, out of the many tours we have taken around the world, the tour guide has been the best one ever.
We had a glorious day for the drive out. Patricia was entertaining us with bits of history and related stories. We had an ample time to see Fatima, and it is a grand venue. We enjoyed every stop on our tour and learned a lot about history and geography of Portugal. Patricia was an amazing guide, effortlessly switching from French to English, to answer questions. Beautiful tour.
We had an amazing time with Nuno Machado on our tour. He was very entertaining, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. He extended our day because we were having so much fun. All of our stops were appropriately timed. I would ask for him for this and other tours.
