We were so fortunate to have Joe as our tour guide through Fairbanks. He was born and raised here and knew so much about Alaska. It was an honor to share this experience with him and we learned so many fascinating things.
Tour exceeded our expectations. Muriel, our guide, was quite informative. Very accommodating to our needs. Answered all our questions. Having lived in Fairbanks a long time, she provided a great perspective.
Wendy provided and running commentary about Fairbanks. She took us to the U of Alaska Museum of the North, the Robert White Large Animal Research Station and then on to see Santa at the North Pole (Alaska). She was great fun.
We had an excellent overview of what Fairbanks has to offer with tours of the Museum of the North at the University of Alaska, the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center, a stop to see the Pipeline, the Antler Academy at the “North Pole” complete with a little shopping and just an insightful driving tour by our knowledgeable guide, Wendy, who understood the area and the cultures that make up Alaska!
Nice easy tour that encompasses what Fairbanks has to offer. U of Alaska a terrific stop. Wendy, our guide, personable and most helpful, her stories a plus.
Wendy was incredibly knowledgeable and made this tour absolutely enjoyable. It truly was a plethora of information. I highly recommend it.
Joe was kind, friendly and informative. I enjoyed the tour, especially the Musk Oxen reserve. Pick up at hotel snd returned on time,
Great tour guide/driver - Linus. He hit all the best places to see in the Fairbanks area and he was very knowledgeable, interesting, and flexible. Linus even went out of his way to suggest an excellent place for dinner (Pump House, on the Chena River . . .). Here's a big :high five" to Linus and 1st Alaska Tours!
Linus was an excellent tour guide!! Very knowledgeable and passionate about education others. We had our children with as well (9 & 7 years old). He did a great job of sharing information with them as well to keep them interested in the tour. Our van did break down at the pipeline which wasn't ideal, but Linus really made the best of it. We only had to wait a short while for a new van & then the tour continued on. Overall it was a great tour.
Joe was born and raised in Fairbanks and was an excellent tour guide. He was very helpful and knowledgeable.
