Great tour and great guides - both the Greek and Turkish.

We did this tour on a Saturday and was well worth it if you want to explore a bit more of Cyprus than just the beaches and usual sites you would have on holiday.
We were picked up on time and our guide 'Eleni' was lovely, very helpful and informative giving us a commentary of things as we passed by on the coach heading to Famagusta. We drove through remember to bring your passports! the checkpoint and got to see upclose the remains of Famagusta before being driven to the enclosed walls of Varosha where you can get off and explore for 4 hours while the tour continues to Salamis ruins and the Monastery of St. Barnabas. We opted to stay on and go see these sites which is for 2 hours so you will head back to the town after for the remaining 2 hours, which I would advise is plenty of time
The ruins are amazing and had a great time exploring, our guide gave us the option to walk with her while she explained parts or we could wander off on our own, the choice us yours. We then visted then Monastery which was also really interesting. If you are interested in history then this is the trip for you.
Heading back to the town of Varosha we then visted 'Othellos' Castle which was also a good explore and only cost about 3 euro entry.
we would definitely recommend this tour to anyone going who has an interest in history and likes learning something new.
the tour is finished off at the beach for an hour before heading back to your transfer home.
    5stars.
