Amazing views well worth it, even not being peak fitness I could blame the lack of oxygen and walk at the same pace as others riding uphill in 1st gear 😉 Downhill was much more fun. Knowledgeable guide kept us entertained

Great trip. Friends and family. Paul our guide was wonderful. Very personable and some great tips. Mixed level of cycling and Paul made everyone feel comfortable. Some beautiful scenery. We went on a very cold day -18C but other than odd time we were all warm enough. Layers and something warm for the hands and feet. Highly recommend. Thanks

We had an amazing time on the fat bike tour. Our guide, Paul was extremely helpful with great tips on how to use the bikes properly. He made the morning really enjoyable and the tour had a great pace and was a fun ride. Everything was extremely well organized from start to finish.

We did the fat bike frozen waterfall tour with Paul this weekend and it was amazing! It was my first time doing fat bike and I love it! The tour is not too easy and not too difficult. It was really cool to learn the basics on how to use our balance and breaks going downhill. We took photos on a couple of spots during the tour. The landscape was fantastic. I highly recommend this activity next time you want to do something fun outdoor!

Frozen Waterfall Fat Bike Tour ... Biking in a winter wonderland. Such a great day out, with a very knowledgeable guide, Paul. Also, any guide who packs in hot apple cider and cookies for a snack at the frozen waterfall is 5 star in my books. To the incredible staff at the shop and our tour amazing tour guide, thank you for a stellar day, riding in a winter wonderland.

Kananaskis Outfitters was amazing! When booking the appointment, the woman on the phone was extremely informative & the booking was extremely easy & painless. The guide was fantastic - friendly, positive demeanour, & very informative. He was willing to take the time to give us a few instructions on better technique, so we can really enjoy our time. The distance to the falls we went to was perfect, & he even brought along a surprise snack & drink. What a brilliant way to spend a day! Thank-you to Kananaskis Outfitters - wonderful experience!!

The Fatbike Tour is a must try for anyone who likes the outdoors, mountain scenery and good people. I booked this tour for my Girlfriend's 33rd birthday as she wanted to try something active. A lot of our choices are limited for outdoor activities in the dead of winter, and the opportunity came up to try fatbiking. Claude and the team were very welcoming and cognizant of our fitness levels. Claude gave us a good initial rundown on how Fatbikes work, how to adjust the gears (and the best time to adjust them) while being engaging and humorous. Both myself and my girlfriend consider ourselves to be able to keep up physically with most people, but this was an activity to pushed my cardio to another level. Claude was very understanding when I went too hard, too fast, and was happy to slow down (and stop once) for me to catch my bearings. It was nice that it was just a tour for the two of us, so I didn't feel like I held anyone back too much. We had the opportunity to make it down to the frozen waterfalls, take pictures and even take the scenic path back to the store all on Claude's recommendation. He was very happy to adjust the speed of the tour; we were losing steam by the end of it and even though it went over the tour time window by 30 minutes, he was happy to send us on our way with a little going away gift from Kananaskis Outfitters for my Girlfriend's birthday. This small business exemplifies what Alberta Hospitality means and I will definitely support them again. Thank you for making my Girlfriend's birthday memorable.

We were a keen group of 6 co-workers with no fat biking experience. Paul, our guide, was fun, friendly, engaging and even brought us snacks! The only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 stars was that I wish the description would have suggested that riders be of moderate fitness with moderate biking skills. There were some icier declines that required skill and a bit of guts, and the hills required leg strength. Our group had fun, but did need to walk a decent portion of it.

My fiancé and I were the only two on the fat bike tour and we loved it! He is a more experienced mountain biker and I am more of a casual recreational biker, but our guide did a great job of balancing our abilities, and riding on the fat bikes was so much fun! Would highly recommend this tour!
