Booked this before our holiday and really enjoyed the whole experience. So much more than just a cooking school. They take you shopping and food tasting in the medina also. We had done a food tour the day previous so it was a great testament that we returned to a couple of the places again. Would thoroughly recommend. An added bonus that we could drink wine whilst cooking and was only the two of us so very personal.

100% RECOMENDABLE. Experiencia única en Fez y muy interesante (el curso + la visita al zoco). El personal es genial.

Excellent tour, the time in the Souk tasting here and there was the best part and the meal we produced was well worth it

We did the souk and cooking class combo. Was pleasantly surprised that the souk tour wasn't just to buy the ingredients for the class but also to see and taste some local Fez cuisine. Sukina was amazing. The food cooked included an appetizer, tajine, and dessert- all delicious. I am assuming that in the interest of time, we cooked the chicken in a regular pot instead of the tajine clay pot (which was used to serve the dish).

What an incredible time and experience at Palais Amani. The cooking class and the shopping for ingredients in the Medina was absolutely fantastic. Experiencing the locals and food tasting was an enjoyable time. I would totally recommend this overall experience not only for the food and location, but also for the genuine kindness and treatment my adult son and I received from the staff and chef at Palais Amani. Worth it!!

A cooking class at Palais Amani is a master class in Moroccan culture …. And not to be missed! You are treated to a an immersive trip to the Medina to shop for your spices, veggies, and treats you will cook with, all along learning about the different parts of the souk and traditional Moroccan shopping, cooking, spices, history, religion, and you see and touch taste and smell how beautiful and rich in history and culture this amazing town is. While shopping all your senses are hit with vibrant colors, smells, tastes , and sounds… you want to take it all in and never forget…. This is the Morocco you read about and dreamed of visiting and you have the perfect guides! * Sukina who ran the cooking class in perfect English was the consummate host and guide throughout our entire experience. Always offering up incredible insights, with a warm and welcoming way, you are instantly at ease and feel like old friends. * Osama the chef was a wonderful teacher… watching him shop as well as cook with us was an educational experience. Throughout the class, we were treated to surprises and gifts along the way ( which I will not spoil because I just loved the way it all unfolded for us) … all these surprises and gifts are true to Morrocan hospitality and warmth. We were lucky enough to be in Fes and a part of this cooking class during Ramadan, which added so much more to the learning experience for us. During the class you are cooking, cutting, tasting, laughing, learning, ( and if you were competitive … comparing your meal to your companion! …,and seeing who’s is all the better! ) …. And when it is completed you then are SERVED your meal in the most beautiful of settings… the courtyard restaurant at Palais Amani… just perfect… a perfectly curated day. Thank you Sukina for making our trip to Fes and Palais Amani so very memorable and one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco. I wish I could include more than just 10 photographs…. I captured so much of the day and would love to share it all … but maybe I will leave it up to you the reader to capture your own exciting and beautiful pics when you take this class and experience all that it has to offer!

What could be better than a cooking class in a gorgeous setting in Fez, Morocco? Located in a Riad (enclosed garden hotel with a lovely 2 level fountained garden). the staff welcomed us with mint tea, & charmed us all the way through our cooking lesson to make an authentic Moroccan starter, a Tagine au Poulet, & a pastilla desert. It was organized, fun, & relaxing, & quite delicious. They also offered a "souk walk" before it, but we'd gone "souking" the day before.

Highly recommend Fez Cooking School. Four of us did the morning/lunch class. All of it - shopping for ingredients in the Medina; chopping; cooking the food; and of course eating our creations - was first rate. (And I have lots of experience with cooking lessons when traveling). Soukaina, who guided our cooking adventure, was charming, and delightful. It was a wonderful introduction to Fez.

This was very well organized, fun, informative with new cooking tips. Having done a cooking class in several other places this was hands down The Best. All 4 of us loved it.
