Great tour that combines some Old Montreal history with food tasting at several local restaurants, bistros and food shops. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

The walking tour was interesting and provided tastes of foods unique to Montreal. Stops were quick with not enough time to consider a beverage stronger than water as an accompaniment to the delicacy being enjoyed.

Excellent food and lots of it. Great history lesson of the area. Our guide was an actual chef with great knowledge of the niche restaurants in the area.

Our guide was very informative about the history and architecture of old Montreal. We loved all the samples from the tour. Highly recommended!

Camille, our guide, was terrific. She was knowledgeable, energetic, and fun. However, out of the five tastings included in this tour three were desserts. There is so much good food in Montreal I wish the tour would offer a greater variety of tastings. I loved the guide, but was disappointed in the offerings.

This was a great tour, a very easy and enjoyable morning with a really knowledgeable and personable guide (thanks Sebastian). We were a small group which was nice so we could take our time and really enjoy the beauty and culture of old Montreal. We started at the Notre Dame Basilica and walked throughout the old town learning about the area and history. We had five stops to sample some famous Montreal or Canadian foods (pate, 'wunderbar', smoked meat, macaroons and ice cream). The places we stopped were beautiful little boutique cafes or shops which would be worth a look even without the food. The tour was a couple of hours long and a nice way to start the day and also learn about other places worth site seeing in Montreal (such as Notre Dame at night has a light show!). Would highly recommend!

Myself and 4 girlfriends were visiting from New Jersey and decided to do this tour. At first, I was skeptical to book because of some of the reviews but I decided to book anyway, hope for the best, and we were all SO GLAD we did! First of all, our group was late due to traffic. I got a phone call from the organizer of the tour saying this was not a problem at all. She proceeded to text me the address of the first stop and to catch up with the guide there. Frederic was our guide and he was fantastic. We tasted all sorts of goodies and even stopped at landmarks in the Old City to learn a bit about the history and culture of Montreal. At the conclusion of the tour, we asked Frederic for some recommendations- he had so many for us, we were thrilled! I finished the tour feeling satisfied, not full, and with a new found love for the French influence of the cuisine in Montreal! For anyone who is skeptical, give it a shot! It is a tasting tour so you're not meant to be super full after but you will get to try a variety of interesting foods! 10/10 and merci beaucoup, Frederic!
