  This was our second tour with Marlene! We had a fantastic time and this was the highlight of our trip. We loved seeing the wildlife in the rainforest!!!

  We had a great trip with Marlene. We saw lots of animals and her knowledge and expertise was great. I would defiantly recommend this excursion. We were back in our hotel around 3pm, we also got to experience an authentic lunch which was great.

  My kids loved this tour!!! They cannot stop talking about the crocodiles, monkeys, sloths and rain frogs!!! Exceptional experience and one our kids and I will never forget.

  The river tour was unbelievable and the jungle experience was fascinating. The staff were very polite and accommodating. I would definitely recommend it.

  I consider myself an independent traveler but this tour was SO enriched by Marlene's knowledge, cheerfulness, go-get-'em attitude and by her overall joy of living! She pointed out all kinds of things we would have missed ("Hear the toucans?", "See the green parrot? Two of them!", "That is not a bee hive, it's a termite nest".) Her driving was impeccable, her English fluency is impressive and I couldn't have asked for more on this delightful tour, led by a delightful guide. And the sloths ... I left my heart in the hands of one in particular. She looked right at me and kind of winked into my camera. There are no fences at this reserve; the animals come and go as they please. Howler monkeys started braying at each other right over head, making for an amazing video to take back to my grade school classroom. I will treasure these memories made all the richer by the expert guidance Marlene afforded. Pura vida!

  We wanted an animal tour and we got one! The river safari was great we saw so many birds, reptiles, and of course monkeys. Then we went to the sloth reserve and we're not disappointed there either. Our guide there showed us many different animals and flora. I highly recommend this tour for the animal lover!

  An amazing day, our driver Freddy was really helpful and made the day special, even taking my husband to get some drops for his eye from the pharmacy, above and beyond. Our guides in the raft and the rain forest tours were fantastic, so much knowledge. Would recommend to all.

  Though I've been to Nicaragua before, this was my first trip to Costa Rica and my first full day in the country. The tour guide, Marlene Rivas, is an absolute delight. She's incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and has an infectious sort of curiosity and enthusiasm for the flora and fauna. She makes the natural wonders all that much more alluring. The raft ride down the Corobici was incredible, especially the crocodiles and fishing birds. We ate mangos freshly plucked from an overhanging branch. That's pretty exotic, and tasty too. The rain forest tour on the trails with all the sloths and leaf cutter ants was also memorable. Marlene and a young guide in training named Caroline made the tour so much fun. They see the animals, then guide your eyes to them by getting close and pointing in the right direction. Keen sight indeed. I loved the whole thing. The people at Bijaqua were really wonderful, and I enjoyed playing with the wee dogs. Just go! Disfruta tu aventura de pura vida en Costa Rica!
