All Florence And Hills Guided City Tour With Accademia And Uffizi Skip The Line offers the best of this city.

Check the itinerary section to know which sites you will be visiting and how you can make it even more exciting by upgrading to different options.

This is a guided tour where you will be accompanied by an expert throughout the day and you will get to understand the history of each place you will be visiting.

Itinerary:

In the morning, make your own way to the meeting point in central Florence. Greet your guide, then hop inside an air-conditioned coach and travel to Piazzale Michelangelo, a gorgeous square that offers magnificent panoramas of the city.

Continue on to Florence Old Town. On arrival, climb out of your coach and stroll to the Accademia Gallery. Head directly inside with your skip-the-line ticket and make a beeline for the gallery’s most famous exhibit: Michelangelo’s David, a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture.

After leaving the gallery, follow your guide along the windy pathways, then come to a stop in the marvelous Piazza del Duomo. Be awed as you take in the glory of the Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore). Gaze up at the striking cupola. You’ll also see Giotto's bell tower (Campanile di Giotto), and the bronze baptistery doors by Ghiberti.

If you wish, upgrade to include lunch at a local restaurant. See below for a sample menu. In the afternoon, meet your guide in central Florence, then settle into your comfortable seat aboard a coach.

Begin your tour with a panoramic bus ride to the hilltop Etruscan village of Fiesole, to enjoy unparalleled views of Florence and the Arno Valley. Then head into Florence Old Town to see the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce. Pose for photos by its distinctive façade before strolling to Piazza della Signoria.

See the imposing Palazzo Vecchio and admire the replica of Michelangelo’s David. Then, wander through the Loggia dei Lanzi, an open-air sculpture gallery.

After, make for the Uffizi Gallery, which is home to more than 1,500 pieces of art including works by Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Raffaello, Cimabue and Caravaggio. With your skip-the-line ticket, head directly inside for a guided tour of some of the gallery’s most famous pieces.

Your tour then concludes at the gorgeous Uffizi Terrace, where you can enjoy an amazing and exclusive view of the city’s most spectacular monuments. You can remain inside the gallery, free to explore the rest of the exhibits at your own pace, if you wish.

What a great tour this turned out to be! We thoroughly enjoyed the pace, the adventure of seeing Florence through the eyes of a local, and getting an inside view of all that we experienced. Kudos to our tour guide for making it fun and enjoyable. It was so much more interesting than just walking about on our own. We highly recommend this Viator experience.

    Great tour, very informative.

Didnt get too much out of walking tour. Headsets were inaudible and directions were not clear.

  • 29-Mar-2018

    This tour was amazing!

  • 08-Mar-2018

The name suggests you get both Accademia and Uffizi... however based on morning or afternoon tour, you get to see only one. If you do morning tour they still call it with above name , but take to Accademia only. The lunch was avarege. So, overall for me it was a let down.

Good trip. The guides were very knowledgeable, really enjoyed the Uffizi Gallery tour in particular.

  • 03-Mar-2018

    Rip off!!

This was a full day tour. The bus took us all round just stopping once at a hill top Michelangelo square. Accademia is next stop that is needed for just seeing Michelangelo's sculptures the famous David and another 6 more. With the detailed description this tour online, we thought it would stop at the Chapel where Michelangelo's tomb was located and other places and will take us to various places throughout the day!! They gave us lunch vouchers and asked us to meet at the starting point near the train station.

4hours of our time got wasted waiting later for Uffizi galleries that was just a 2hour trip -wish more time was given at this museum atleast - our guide there was very knowledgable with art.

In a three day trip to Florence that is once a life time, we very very much regret so much missing the Bargello museum because we took full day tour and our precious time got wasted. This is actually a 4hour tour time for both accademia and Uffizi but we got cheated as it the description says that it is whole day tour that covered these two and lot of driving!!

  • 02-Mar-2018

Tour started at 2:30. Bus ride and walking tour were ok. The Uffizi was our main focus. Didn’t start the Uffizi tour until 5:15. Rushed through gallery to complete tour at 6:00. Literally walked at a fast pace through the new rooms at the end. Very disappointed

  • 25-Feb-2018

Very scenic look at Florence from high above. The gallery tour was very good. Knowledgeable and engaging guide.

  • 24-Feb-2018

Not efficiently organised with using a third party company. We had to wait for various parties to join on both the coach and standing around in the cold, which wasted valuable touring time and caused frustration. The tour guides were very knowledgeable but not so engaging to keep the interest flowing.
