Came to the Gulf Coast Everglades for my wife's birthday and this tour was by far the highlight of the 4-Day Weekend. Capt Don was full of great info and went out of his way to give us the best tour possible. Right from the start we had Dolphins playing in the boat wake, Osprey and Bald Eagles perching, tons of Pelicans, Egrets of all varieties and many many more birds. After a wonderful boat ride and nature discussion we hiked around Some nearby keys while Capt Don filled us in on the history of the area and the Calusa Indian Shell mounds. We follwed that up with a relaxing and fun kayak to some nearby keys and more nature hiking and history. Back on the boat just in time to catch some Dolphin mating behavior and then even more wake jumping and frolicking from them. Finished up with a visit to some beautiful Osprey and Eagle nests and a nearby Egret Rookery. Wow, what a day. Highly recommended and definitely ask for Capt Don!!!

We had a wonderful family (kids, parents, grandparents) tour with this company. The boat tout was calm and smooth., ans secure. The guides were excellent, explaining the ecosystem very carefully, which was very appreciated. A special attention to birds. We'll never forget !

Don McCumber was an excellent guide who loves the Everglades. He's knowledgeable and friendly and gave me a great introduction to the wonderful world of the Everglades. I'll be back!

Captain Don McCumber Everglades Area Tour - thoroughly enjoyed boating around Ten Thousands Island, and mangroves. Had a dolpen follow the boat, rising the surf, so cute. Walk along the beach and listen to him explaining all these different shells and marine life, was fascinating. Captain was so knowledgeable about the area, flora and fauna and you could really tell he loved sharing it with people. Then kayak around Mangrove trees to the Rabbit and Bunny Island to see Calusa Indiana shell beach 9am - 1230noon, about 3.5hr long Best time to spend around coast of Everglade City

We had the benefit of a hugely experienced guide, Don, for our magical boating and kayaking trip into the Everglades and into the 10,000 islands. Initially travelling on a boat but then transitioning to individual kayaks, we saw plenty of dolphins, other sea life and 1000s of amazing shells. A truly unique way to see this stunning part of Florida. Thanks for a great trip Don!

My 15 yr. old son and I did the eco-tour with Captain Dan on June 28, 2022, and absolutely loved it, especially learning about the flora & fauna of the Everglades mangrove islands! We were so lucky to see a dolphin playing in the wake of our boat and gorgeous Roseate Spoonbills, Brown Pelicans, Egrets & Ibis up close. I was touched by Dan's commitment to the environment when he removed fishing line and lures from a mangove. The kayaking among the mangroves to the barrier island was awesome! Nature treated us to surprise sightings of mating horseshoe crabs swimming in the water and a puffer fish. Captain Dan kept us safe by monitoring an approaching storm. I would definitely do this tour again. I highly recommend it!!!

This was an absolutely amazing tour. Captain Dan was knowledgeable, kind, and really good with kids. The places he took us were amazing. We got to see dolphins up close as well as lots of other wildlife. This tour allowed us to see the Everglades in a way that would have been impossible otherwise. They were also very flexible and adjusted the time of our tour due to rain to make sure we still got to do the trip. You don’t have to have kayaking experience to be successful with this trip. We took our 5 year old and 11 year old kids and they loved it. I highly recommend it.

Captain D did a great job! Our family enjoyed the trip! Dolphins, nature, viewing of unique shells, mangroves and so much more! Book it-you won’t be disappointed!

The guide was knowledgeable and encouraged engagement among the small group (which I loved having taken it alone) but also had quiet moments to soak in the environment. Knew exactly where to find animals and stayed around for just the right amount of time.

I want to relay tour was with a fill in staff not owner. He never introduced himself. I have been on several eco tours and usually the information is flowing and I learn a lot but unfortunately not this time. It was not terrible but not great, guide seemed tired. Hike was a walk on a small beach. Would have been nice if they minimally provided water for the cost. Happy to see dolphins and several different birds.
