For approximately sixty years the Ballet Folklorico of Mexico, founded by artistic director Amalia Hernandez, has performed more than 15,000 shows to 22 million people worldwide. The folk dance company preserves Mexicos traditional arts by filming dances, recording music and photographing costumes from regions throughout Mexico, and presents these forms on stage.

  • Excellent show. Non stop bright Mexican dancing and music. Wonderful costumes. Well worth the money and time. The building itself is a gorgeous and worth the visit on its own.

  • When booking this tour several months ago we were not informed that the Ballet would be presented in an outdoor venue. Outdoors in January! It had rained that day, so the stage and the seats were wet. The show began and the rain returned with wind and temperatures in the 40's. The show was stopped because dancers were slipping and falling on the stage and we were getting soaked and shivering in the cold. We were most dissatisfied with this.

  • Garage fun in a beautiful setting

  • Was no able to attend, I got sick on my previous tours to Cuernavaca and Taxco

  • The ballet is an amazing show, however this tour is a ripoff. The tour is expensive, but the seats we had were in the third floor of the theater. Therefore the show was barely visible from that height. Also the driver told us the van would be in the sample place after the show and it wasn and #39;t. Poor.
