  • On the last day of my Copenhagen break I decided to take this food tour, and in a word it was an amazing decision I made ! I am pretty sure we had a taste of the best this city has to offer ! And since this was a food tour we had a cherry on the cake : the wonderful guide Sjaella and her funny trainee Stewart who didn't spare anything to make this experience totally unforgettable and out of this world !

  • There are a few choices for deciding what food tour you may want to take. For the most part all come pretty highly recommended. This one seemed a bit more relaxed and similar to a few others we had taken in other countries. When we showed up early a tour group of about 10 or 12 was just starting out. When our arranged time came, my wife and I were the only two we had Simon, our guide, all to ourselves. Simon was great! Because there were only two of us, we had a little more free time between stops, or were able to linger longer at each stop. Each stop was a wonderful introduction into Scandinavian, and more precise Danish cuisine. Simon was a wealth of valuable information, and we really enjoyed our time together. We started with a cheese shop, where Michael a real character explained the different Danish cheese. We went on to the ubiquitous Danish sandwiches Smorrebrod accompanied by the ever present schnapps. We sampled chocolates, the venerable hot dog stand, and a local Brew Pub. Have to say we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Well Done Simon!

As a side note, Copenhagen Fairy Tales Copenhagen Food Tour has changed to Nova Fairy Tales Copenhagen. So reviews are scattered a bit on TA and Viator. I am believe that I am posting on the right tour.

  • food tour in copenhagen is very very good, my husband and myself are the only participants in the tour, I think because weather of the
day is no good, windy, cold and heavy shower in the morning, so we have our own tour leader, she is very nice, patient and explaints
everything in details, we chat, talk and just like a friend, also highly recommended people to join FOOD TOUR which is the best way
    to know that country's culture.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour in Copenhagen. We sampled some delicious offerings and learned much about food, but also about the city as well as Denmark. Hannah was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Thank you, Hannah, for your guidance in the city and for enhancing our visit!

  • The whole experience was wonderful as this was our first food tour in Europe. Our tour guide, Jessica, was wonderful. She explained everything so well and in great detail. She was open to questions and told us all about living there. Jessica was probably the most impressive tour guide that we ever have had. The food choices were excellent as well as the beer flight. Would highly recommend.

  • If you never had a hotdog, you will love this tour.

  • Very good tour, took us to places and gave info that you would have never gotten on your own. The only negative was the curry wurst, why ruin a good wurst with catsup.

  • I was only able to spend one day in Copenhagen while traveling through Scandinavia, and there was no better way to see the city than with this food tour. Diana was amazing! She has a great depth of knowledge, so not only are you able to try delicious food, you also get to see sites and learn so much! I asked if we could take some streets that weren't so touristy and because Diana was so accommodating, we were able to see beauty of the city. The umbrella I brought came in handy because it did rain a couple times but just for a few minutes. Wear comfortable shoes for the walking and clothes that aren't too restrictive, because you will leave feeling full!

  • The tour was most enjoyable!! Our tour guide, Laura, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and most helpful throughout the tour. She made sure to include everyone 8 of us in the conversation.

  • Jessica from Wisconsin, was our tour guide for the FOOD TOUR OF COPENHAGEN. We want to thank her for making our experience so wonderful. Lots of walking, talking and eating . . . exactly our kind of tour!!
