Overview

Lets start this tour in one of the most typical restaurants in Porto, to taste Bolinhos de Bacalhau accompanied by a Beiro shot (typical liquor from Portugal).

We'll walk around the Jewish neighborhood to understand the next dish: Alheira.
In Picota is time to eat one of the most important dishes of this city due to its history. Alheira with Green Wine is the perfect combination.

Now it's time for Bifana, a small sandwich with meat and its sauce, with tomato and a little bit spicy! The best way to eat it is with Porto beer Super Bock.

And last but not least: Restaurante Maria Odete. Here you will have a menu with typical meals, such as cheeses and chorizos, Codfish as the main dish and to drink Douro Wine.

But this is not all, let's hope you still have a hole in your stomach because we also offer you dessert with Port Wine.

After all, we recommend that you come expecting to learn more about this city, its history, culture, and gastronomy. We'll talk about food... a lot!

Wonderful way to see the city. Cat our guide was amazing- she was so knowledgeable about Porto and it’s culture. Food was amazing everywhere we went, great selection of local produce and drinks. We saw some beautiful sights of Porto- all at a leisurely pace. Would highly recommend as an introduction to Porto!

Our guide was amazing. She not only was great with my children, but also was able to work with our FOOD ALLERGIES!!! All of us enjoyed great food and have a large list of additional foods/ restaurants to try. Highly recommend this tour.

Don't bother. Book a Port house visit and skip all the walking that pads out this activity. There's very little chat on the route and the wines at the port house and two stop offs are "meh".

A great way to experience good quality, traditional food in a whistle stop tour of the city. The highlight of this tour was the first small bar where we ate salt cod cakes and had a glass of Portuguese liqueur - both delicious! Friendly guide.

Our guide - Ana Baguim was great - she asked what we wanted to get out of the tour, and provided us with exactly that. She gave us plenty of time at each stop, and told us some really interesting facts about Aporto. We would recommend doing this to other visitors to the city.

Ines was excellent! She provided a lot of good information about the food, history, and culture. She also took my son’s nut allergies into consideration when ordering. She took us to the best places to try traditional foods and even better drinks. Highly recommend!!
