Lets start this tour in one of the most typical restaurants in Porto, to taste Bolinhos de Bacalhau accompanied by a Beiro shot (typical liquor from Portugal).

We'll walk around the Jewish neighborhood to understand the next dish: Alheira.
In Picota is time to eat one of the most important dishes of this city due to its history. Alheira with Green Wine is the perfect combination.

Now it's time for Bifana, a small sandwich with meat and its sauce, with tomato and a little bit spicy! The best way to eat it is with Porto beer Super Bock.

And last but not least: Restaurante Maria Odete. Here you will have a menu with typical meals, such as cheeses and chorizos, Codfish as the main dish and to drink Douro Wine.

But this is not all, let's hope you still have a hole in your stomach because we also offer you dessert with Port Wine.

After all, we recommend that you come expecting to learn more about this city, its history, culture, and gastronomy. We'll talk about food... a lot!

Being late in the year it was no surprise to find that the tour had only two participants, my friend and I. As a result of this the four hours were spent in conversation, almost like making new friends. Our guide, Katarina, was friendly, knowledgeable and a joy to spend time with. We learned a lot about Portugal, Porto and Portuguese customs and enjoyed some very tasty dishes along with background and explanations. Never realised that the people of Porto had such a love of cod! Visited four cafe / bar / restaurants of different styles over the four hours with just a healthy amount of walking between. Even the almost relentless rain didn't spoil the evening. Would recommend.

The food was amazing. Porto his a hilly city, so be ready to walk, bit is a nice way to break up the food. My favorite was the stop at Conga, and was a great way to see the city.

Goed eten ,leuke restaurants ,lekkere wijnen/port , gevarieerd gezelschap (amerikanen, engelsen, duitsers en nederlanders) . ze waren niet te kinderachtig met het eten en drank. Prima rondleiding van Anna.

This tour was definitely worth it and Barbara was an awesome, charming host. We visited four restaurants and they were all very good. Really appreciated Barbara’s knowledge of Porto and the descriptions she gave of all the foods we tasted.

Tamara was an outstanding guide and gave us a nice assortment of Porto tastes and a good city tour as well. It was more food than I imagined.

This food tour was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide Ana showed us beautiful parts of the city and shared the history behind every location we went to. The food was delicious at every restaurant and it was fun learning the history behind the dishes as well. I recommend this tour 100%. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Our family of five has never been to Portugal before and thought a walking/food tour of Porto would be a good introduction and it definitely was. Our wonderful guide, Sylvia, taught us about different types of local cuisine—and of course wine!—all in a way that kept it interesting. This is a great tour that we would all definitely recommend!
