Departing by open-top bus, your Frankfurt city tour will take you to the Romer town hall. Constructed in the 15th century, the Romer is Frankfurt's most important historic building, taking its name from Roman settlements that existed there long before Frankfurt itself was founded.
At the Romer, you'll depart your tour bus to enjoy a leisurely walk around the historic heart of the city. Be sure to bring your camera to capture sights of architecturally stunning buildings such as St Paul's Church and Frankfurt cathedral (Gotischer Kirchturm). The tour will then continue to Old Sachsenhausen, a pedestrianized district of Frankfurt famed for its lively cafs, bars and restaurants.
Back onboard your open-top bus, you'll travel in comfort to Frankfurt's modern European banking center, where you'll see the tall skyscrapers that characterize the city's imposing skyline. En route to the banking quarter, you'll pass Goethe House, the former home of Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe, an 18th-century literary genius and German poet.
Other top Frankfurt attractions that you'll see before your two-hour guided tour ends include the old Hauptwache Plaza, with its beautiful Baroque buildings, and the famous Zeil shopping center.

Peter was a great guide! He was super informative and very friendly. Not much of the tour is spent on the bus, we walked through a lot of the city - which was actually great.
-
My trip was amazing! Being on a double decker bus that over looks the city. The meeting point was simple and the tour took me around the main points of the city. Would highly recommend to anyone.
-
We had a great time on this tour. Our guide, Peter, was awesome and gave us more history about the city. Wish we could have spent more time there but so many other things to see in Germany. Highly recommend.
-
Beautiful Heidelberg. Enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately in our tour van we could not hear our guide as he spoke. The back of the van was very noisy.
-
Estuve dos días recorriendo, me alojé cerca de la estación de tren, desde donde se puede ir caminando a la parte antigua. Disfruté mucho de caminar a la orilla del río. La zona más antigua es muy linda, con interesantes lugares para conocer y para comer.

From the tour detail, There are “ Languages Offered: English and 1 more Mobile Ticket Accepted Instant Confirmation Duration: 2h Departure Point Wiesenhüttenpl. 39, 60329 Frankfurt am Main, Germany Return Details Returns to original departure point Inclusions Transport by open-top bus Professional guide“ But there was no professional guide. They gave us earphones to listen to the voice guide in each language and dropped off near Berliner streets. Then they said “Please go sightseeing around here. We are going to come back 1 hour later”. After that they left that point. All the things they did for us was take us sightseeing spot and dropped off and return us to the starting point. I and other participants expected this tour and already paid for. https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g187337- d11451282-Frankfurt_City_Tour-Frankfurt_Hesse.html However then provide this kind of tour. https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductReview-g187337- d11451289-Frankfurt_City_Hop_On_Hop_Off_Tour-Frankfurt_Hesse .html After the tour finished, I told the tour desk “it was far from different that I expected” but they didn’t hear my complaints. Even though it was Christmas Eve, they should tell us the tour contents has been changed in advance. It was not worth the price I paid for and was my worst memory of Frankfurt unfortunately.

Good tour. There was not much time to stop and shop or eat during the tour. But it was very informative

Le guide n’arrêtait de parler en germen malgré qu'on a commandé un guide en anglais la visite été trop rapide et fade à ne pas conseiller
-
City Tour was canceled and the tickets repleced by a Hop On Hop Off tour... terrible! Now I am waiting for the refunds... Good to check before book and pay.

It was the worst tour, i have ever taken. I paid 33Euros for this 2 hour trip which was to start at 1PM. The tour started at 1.30, we rode the bus around the city for about 40 minutes and were taken to st. pauls church for 20 mins, and then left free to roam in the city centre. I would not recommend this trip for even 3 EUROS.!! @Viator - You guys should take it off your list too.
