A great opportunity to enjoy lunch in the quaint, historic village of Franschhoek.

Know More about this tour

Relax as you sip your way through Cape Town's wine country. After the collection, settle into a luxury coach equipped with onboard amenities including a toilet, reclining seats, freeWi-Fi,and USB charging ports.Your guide tells you stories about the early Huguenot emigrants who brought their winemaking skills to the Cape over 300 years ago.

Your first stop isatBloubergstand Beach. It is from here you can get a picture-perfect view of Table mountain from across the water of Table Bay.

Afterward, reach the rolling vineyards on your way to Franschhoek. Arrive for a late morning stop at Anura Wine estate (subject to change). Join their cellar master and staff for an informative tour of their winemaking facility and cellar. This is followed by an opportunity to taste their classic red and white wines, complimented with a cheese pairing.

Then explore the town of Franschhoek, dating back to 1688. You have two hours to explore this quaint village, enjoy some lunch, or have another wine tasting. Nestled between towering mountains in the beautiful Cape winelands, this is the food and wine heartland of the country, where splendid wines are grown and our top chefs create international cuisine.

The afternoon takes you over the "Hellshoogte" mountain pass to Stellenbosch, the second oldest settlement in the Cape, where you reach the Vergenoegt Wine estate (subject to change) for an afternoon tasting of some of their specialty wines. Highlight here is the "Duck Parade", where some 900 ducks march past you in formation.

Back on the coach, savor the late afternoon sun on the return drive to Cape Town, where our tour concludes at the City Sightseeing ticket office at the V&A Waterfront (or return to your chosen collection point).

This tour was absolutely awesome. I learned a lot about wine tasting. We also had a chance to visit several sites outside of Cape town. Our guide Charles as well as our driver Stevie were very nice and very professional. I learned a lot. The atmosphere was very relax thanks to our guide Charles sense of humor. Great tour.

Very friendly guide & driver but I would have liked to walk through the vineyards and not just drive through them. Plus, starting to drink at 9:30am is defo an experience... If you can pick a tour starting around midday, I think that would be recommendable. Very yummy wine thought and beautiful landscapes we drove by.

Fun and relaxing drinking trip with bits of interesting wine facts. Guide was very friendly but be ready for a lot of alcohol related jokes :D

This was an amazing day out with Brahm, visiting 2 wineries, one with an amazing chocolate pairing experience. Definitely worth a day. Brahm is a very energetic, and knowledgeable guide. I'm glad he also pointed out all the Liverpool flags in our way! :)

Picked up from Stop 8 in Camps Bay which was actually the first pick up point, so we secured front row seats on the bus. Once the bus was full in Cape Town we set off. Each and every venue was a delight. The wines were great, all the people really knowledgeable and friendly. Our driver Julian and Guide Nicko were great 'hosts' and worked really well together. Lunch in Franschhoek was excellent @ the Bovine restaurant. When we got back to Cape Town, they even laid on a bus back to Camps Bay. Great value for money and highly recommended.

A very nice tour, the only thing I would change is a bit more time on our own in Stellenbosch, as that part was done exclusively with the tour guide. Otherwise we definitely enjoyed our tour and would recommend it.

The first wine tasting in SIMOSIG was amazing, the wine was delicious, the third wine pairing at Paarl was also very nice. Enjoyed these two very much. Would definitely go back to these two. The driver and the tour guide were professional. Enjoyed the trip. The second tasting at Franschoek was the worst. The wine was watery and the food at the restaurant is not worth the price. Very substandard food. Wouldn't go there again.

This Winelands experience was just what I needed. Our host gave great history along the route. I really enjoyed the wine and cheese pairing and the wine and chocolate pairing. Both estates were beautiful and well maintained with great hosts. The route had beautiful views. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience, especially since I was solo.
