Merilyn, our guide was excellent and informative. The driver was also great with information and even circled around for a picture opportunity. This is not a 'beach trip".

Our tour guide, Boo, waited for us as we had a late arrival into port. He was friendly and knowledgeable about Freeport. The Garden of the Groves was lovely with a one hour guided tour then an hour on our own. There was a nice restaurant that served local beer and food. There were also several local artisans selling their creations. We had a great tour of the surrounding areas with Boo pointing out interesting highlights. We then visited Port Lucaya Marketplace before heading back to our ship. Great tour for those who enjoy scenery and local culture.

The excursion began with us boarding a clean, air conditioned bus. Phillip was our driver. He was entertaining & gave us continued banter with facts & history on Freeport. Marilyn was our guide at the Garden of the Groves. She was friendly, humorous & full of history about the garden. The garden is pretty, but not terrifically maintained. The walk through was not strenuous & most steps provided a hand rail.

Our guide, "Boo" was great. The drive to the Garden of the Groves is a little longer than I expected. The Garden is beautiful & peaceful. The shops are unique and sell items make by island residents. Boo took us to a beach for a quick photo ops then to a shopping market. This is a tour for the more mature groups.
