Know More about this tour

Head to the Apple Store in central Aix-en-provence in the morning to meet your guide and board the air-conditioned minivan. Then sit back as you begin your full-day tour of the stunning French Riviera, also known as the Cte dAzur.

Drive along the postcard-worthy Mediterranean coast to Monaco. This glitzy principality technically the second-smallest country in the world behind the Vatican will enchant you with its beguiling ambiance, glam boutiques and harbor filled with multi-million-dollar yachts.

Hop out to explore Monaco by foot. Your guide will point out the Princes Palace (Palais Princier) and through the surrounding medieval village of Monaco-Ville, also known as Le Rocher or The Rock. Soak up a panoramic view over Monaco Port, Monte Carlo and the sparkling Mediterranean in the distance.
Then take a drive along the Circuit de Monaco, Monacos world-famous street circuit. This street is used as the racetrack for the Formula One Grand Prix, one of Europes premier and most thrilling highlights of the year. Make a photo stop outside of the Casino of Monte Carlo, facing the famous Hotel de Paris and Caf de Paris and several deluxe boutiques.

After your time in Monaco, continue your drive along the scenic coast road to Eze, perched up high on the Middle Corniche. Spend time exploring this cliff-top medieval village offering excellent views of the Mediterranean coast, and take a guided tour of Fragonard, a traditional perfumery.

Your next destination is Nice. Start with a panoramic city tour to discover the unusual mix of casual Mediterranean charm, old-world opulence, Art Deco architecture and urban grit. Cruise down the palm-lined Promenade des Anglais, passing the magnificent faade of Hotel Negresco and Palais de la Mditerrane, and end with sweeping views of the Bay of Angels from Castle Park (Parc du Chteau), a rocky outcrop towering over Vieux Nice.

After a full day exploring the French Riviera, relax on the drive back to Aix-en-provence, arriving back at around 7:30pm.

The tour was more about having a driver than an actual tour. It gave a quick taste of Monaco, Nice and Eze. All three were very distinct. Monaco, of course, was life as the rich and famous: palaces, yachts, super cars, casino, etc. It is truly for the privileged. Although sounding like a true North American, parts reminded me of Disney World, beautiful, but not real, perfectly designed and operated. Eze was spectacular. Please plan on an extreme climb to the top and I fear, not the best visit for those with any health issues, canes, etc. We climbed to the very top through this unique town built on a hill. The vantage to the Mediterranean and the coast is worthy of the climb. We also stopped at a perfume facility. It was interesting to see how perfumes are made and how few in the world, 50, have the ‘nose’ to develop these colognes. Last stop was Nice. Indicative if the thoughts you have of the French Riviera... Beach Town, beautiful son and lots of restos and shops along the waterfront and close behind. Also beautiful along the Med., it is overrun by tourists which very much impacted our thoughts on it. The drive back and forth is long, but a lot covered in the day.

Van tour with local guide. Guide was very knowledgeable. Lovely drive along French Riviera coast. Audio system in van was poor and we could not hear much of what guide told us. No structure when left at sights to view. Here it is, meet me back at xx time. I should have studied before I went to know what to look for.

My wife and I spent a fabulous day with Natalie. She is everything a tour guide should be. She is personable , entertaining , extremely informative and a bit of a mother hen in being sure that we had the maximum experience without being lost or feeling stressed.
The central meeting point at the Apple Store in Aix is perfect and then we walked to the van with the other 3 tour members. Natalie is an excellent driver and has an mike that enables her to talk and reach the people in the back seat as well as those near her. We started in Monaco and after specific and repeated instructions as to where and when to meet her, we were allowed time to explore supplied with tips about what to see. The Monaco segment was our favorite. She did a quick stop at the Monte Carlo Casino and we had the chance to walk to it and take some photos.
The next stop was at a perfumery and it was interesting to see their manufacturing process and then to the hilltop village of Eze. Be prepared for a lot of steep narrow streets to walk on. The buildings are packed together and have a lot of character but you won't have many Mediterranean Sea vistas as space is limited. Our final stop was in Nice and again we had some time to explore the promenade along the beach and some of the old city.
Natalie said she was used to people sleeping on the way but we were energized and the conversation continued all they way back to Aix.
Natalie couldn't be more perfect and we enjoyed the time we had for independent exploring.

A wonderful opportunity to travel to the beautiful French Rivera region. The tour allies you to spend enough free time in Monaco, Eze and Nice. Our tour guide Leonardo was fantastic and kept us informed on each regions history. I recommend this tour and our guide Leonardo!

Our small group of 5 to Côté d'Azur was led by our very knowledgeable guide/chauffeur, Leonardo Italy. Monaco was our first stop. And Leonardo made sure to give us enough time to see the Prince's Palace, to witness the changing of the guards, walk though the exotic gardens, visit the cathedral where Princess Grace was married and now buried. From there we did a quick tour of Monte Carlo and a view of the iconic places. From Monaco, we went to the Fragonard perfumery then a gastronomic lunch treat in Eze, a small medieval town close to Monaco. The last part of the trip we spent in warm and sunny Nice where we had the chance to view the city from an elevated vantage point, to walk along beachfront and nearby shops, and pass thru the Promenade des Anglais. It was a great tour! And it was a great way to meet two new friends - one from Australia and one from Vietnam.
