A must do trip if you are in Tenerife, La Gomera is a beautiful island and this trip shows you the best the island has to offer. My only criticism is the faffing about at the meeting point.

Bella escursione, buona organizzazione, abbiamo potuto ammirare i paesaggi meravigliosi di quest'isola lussureggiante. Guida TOP: bravo Marco!

The crossing on the ferry was calm and fast. It was busy but loads of seats. We wanted to go on a Saturday and this had to have a Spanish tour. My Spanish is basic but our guide spoke English so helped, but even better another guide called Terry could speak great English and gave us lots of explanations. Our Spanish driver was great and really funny. We saw her again on another trip which was nice. We enjoyed the lovely features of La Gomera and Lunch was nice. Special thank you Terry for all your help and kindness with our special needs daughter.

Much nicer to travel by jeep than coach. But I would suggest you hire a car, or motorcycle. You won’t have any less info if you read the tourist notice boards, you will likely eat better, plan an itinerary that is possible, and allows you to experience the island. The experience would have been improved by a driver who was able to point out more than Tiede, and the fruit plants that we had identified ourselves. I would also have liked to have visited all of the places we were told we would go to. However, what made this a truly dismal experience was the behaviour of one of the guides. A charismatic man, reminiscent of the chauvinistic 80s game show host. He appeared much more interested in his performance, relying on sexist jibes, and the small humiliations of his customers to the crowd. He gave little information, and even told us (haha) that he would be the one lying to us at the start of the trip. This man, 50ish, was clearly drawn to the teenage girls in the group. Teasing, flirting, and inappropriately touching one 17 year old, who was polite, but not encouraging. My teenage son and I were appalled. This alone was more than enough for me to suggest not taking this trip. There is no place for this kind of behaviour. It is not acceptable.

Inoltre, avendo partecipato a molti tour privati in Italia e all’estero, mi aspettavo qualcosa di assolutamente diverso. Secondo me vale molto meno di quanto costa.

Well, where to start really!! This is a full day out to another island, which is breathtakingly different from any of the Canaries. You have to see to believe the enormous difference in the 2 sides of the island, stunning. We had a fantastic guide; Terry, you're the best! All you have to do is turn up at the correct pick up point, at the designated time and leave the rest in their capable hands. Ferry trip there and back all sorted and organised for you, so sit back, relax and be prepared to be thrilled. All languages are covered so you can be confident that everyone will be able to understand the dialogue throughout the day. Typical Canarian lunch served in a typical Canarian restaurant, also excellent. Thank you so much for our amazing adventure, your care and attention to detail so appreciated xx

Absolutely fantastic trip to La Gomera, made 10x better by our tour guide Franke. This was one of the highlights of our holiday to Tenerife, completed with stunning views, lots of information about the island and lots of laughs. We were so glad we chose this over the bus tour, it was a brilliant experience in the Jeep, although I was holding on for dear life at some points! (just joking - Franke is a very capable driver!). The trip to the aloe vera plantation was really interesting and all the stops were beautiful. I’ll be totally honest - the food in the mountain restaurant is not great. I’d take some snacks/a packed lunch with you if you’re a remotely picky eater because choice is in short supply. However it filled a hole, there was wine provided, and the views from the restaurant were a highlight. It didn’t take much away from the experience. I would recommend taking a warm jumper or jacket with you though as the drive can get pretty chilly with the Jeep top down, and make sure your phone/camera is charged because you’re going to want to take lots of photos! It’s a whole day trip but it goes by pretty fast. The tour guides are brilliant at their jobs and really made it unforgettable. (Amazing innit!)
