Start your day trip with a pickup from your Lanzarote meeting point, and travel by air-conditioned coach to Playa Blanca, on the islands southern coast. Board the ferry for your 30-minute crossing to Fuerteventura, an island that basks in the sparkling Atlantic to the south. Your ferry ticket is prebooked, so theres no need to wait in line at the port. Once on board, sit back and contemplate the views over the waves and Fuerteventura on the horizon.
Head south through Fuerteventuras dramatic, stark landscapes to Betancuria, the islands former capital. Cradled into volcanic hills, this ancient whitewashed hamlet was named after the 15th-century Norman explorer, Jean de Bthencourt, who conquered the island. Stroll around its pretty squares independently, and perhaps visit pretty Santa Maria church to see its fine Baroque altar. Next, trace the corkscrew mountain roads to a spectacular viewpoint. Take photos of the breathtaking mountain scenery in front of you and look out for the cheeky chipmunks that make a point of visiting the spot.
Continue to Pajara, a traditional village famed for its Church of Our Lady of Regla, which boasts two aisles and Aztec-style door carvings. Wander around as you wish and then head towards South Corralejo, passing by Puerto del Rosario, the islands capital.
Continue to the spectacular National Park of Fuerteventura. The sight of this 6-mile (11-kilometer) expanse of giant sand dunes merging into the aquamarine sea will have your camera working overtime! Afterward, return to Corralejo and, following your ferry crossing, finish your tour with a drop-off at the meeting point.

The tour guide was brilliant along with the buss driver, however the farm shop needs to be took of the trip. Waste of 30 mins for no reason. The meal we eat at was a strange experience as we had to eat at a table of 12 sat next to people we did not know, not a very comfortable experience!!!! We drove past the capital city and would have enjoyed time looking around the shops and more time to explore the sand dunes. Aloe Vera farm was very interesting keep that on the tour😃

All excellent value - but it would have been nice to have had more time at Betancuria and the museum which were very good. Also we made our own way to Playa Blanca and were told that the ferry left at 10.30 and to be there by 10.10. We got there early as we weren't sure about parking, and then found out the ferry didn't leave until 11am. It's a shame we couldn't have left on the 10am ferry as that would have given us more time in Fuerteventura. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend this trip.

Awesome tour. My mother and I enjoyed it very much.

Fuerteventura tour is a 8 hours tour spent most of the time in the bus. There are 8 stops of 20 minute each circa. It is covered half of the island but there is no time to enjoy any of the stops due to time pressure, so everything has to be done quickly. We have stopped at the sand dunes, that it is the best part of Fuerteventura, for exactly 10 minutes with the bus waiting for us already ready to leave.
I would have enjoy to do less but to have more time for a walk on the beach or enjoy a good relax meal.
The guide tour has been really kind, she was explaining the tour in 3 languages english, spanish and german one after the other, speaking really fast. I find it very confusing and hard to understand. -
Wonderful day trip. Scenery is amazing. Enjoyed the trip to the goats cheese farm and the sand dunes.

Fuerteventura was amazing, especially Betancuria and dunes. But the group was too big and consisted of different language speaking people. The guide spoke consecutively in four languages and this was tiresome. I'd prefere only english.

This is long day spent mostly on the coach. Visits to various commercial entities Aloe Vera factory, Cheese Factory and a long drive through the Interior with a late lunch optional were OK with a good guide. There doesn't seem much to do, the landscape very arid and not a place of great beauty.
No opportunity to do any shopping or time to sightsee independently. Longest stop was for lunch in the middle of nowhere. -
This trip is absolutely fine if you are happy with a lot of travelling by coach. I enjoyed this trip but my partner not so much. We did feel that some of the stop offs were a little unecessary which meant we had less time at the better places. for example we stopped at a cafe before even catching the ferry. Would have preferred to have had the extra 30 minutes resting in the hotel, then we stopped in a town on Fuerteventura that was probably 80 closed was a saturday and only had 20 mins at the sand dunes, 10 minutes at a hill stop. There were some breathtaking views on the mountains that i hoped we would have stopped for. The ferry also provides plenty of good holiday snaps of the ports and sea. this ended up being nearly an 11 hour round trip of which only a few hours was spent 'exploring'. i like a coach trip hence why i enjoyed it. views from a window do not bother me and i got to see the highlights of Fuerteventura that i otherwise wouldnt have seen. not sure there is enough there for me to want to go back. The tour guide Roland was also very helpful and spoke a minimum of 5 languages fairly fluent. unexpected highlight were the mountain squirrels - a lot more friendly and curious than those in the UK.

generally a good trip
