Excellent Dubai highlight with RAH Tours who proved to be entertaining and competent. We did the Full Day Safari with this reliable company. Depart Dubai at 3:30pm and drive about 45 mins into the desert with Land Cruiser, seating up to 6/7 passengers. Beautiful views and undulating dunes with speedy or quick turns and manoeuvres. Thrilling and exciting dune bashing by expert driver. Stop along the way to do the optional quad bikes and a quick refreshment while tyre pressure is adjusted for desert conditions. Dune bashing was well worth it and thoroughly enjoyed, followed by Bedouin camp with short camel ride 5mins, and then relax sitting on cushions at your table to view belly dancers, fire blowers and the like. Food is served as an Arabian style snack and then main barbecued meal with unlimited soft drinks/water, which you line up to collect. We did this in the heart of summer but it was bearable on the dunes and relatively 'cooler' at the camp. Wear comfortable loose clothes, sunblock, hat and sunglasses. Sandals are better if you don't want the sand in your shoes. Walking with feet digging into the sand is very hot though in summer. Not for young children or older persons as very bumpy and wild, but great for fun and adventure. Value for money.

The experience overall was ok. The driver we had was extremely rude. He did not engage with us at all. The entire time he was driving us about 50 minutes out of the city to get to the dunes he was texting on his phone or looking at Facebook!! While driving!! On the highway!! The rest of the evening was just ok. I was really excited for this tour and looking for a real Arabian Nights kind of experience, but came up really disappointed.

Our driver was watching videos and instagram on his cell phone while driving. My niece has video. One of the passengers was getting sick and he was not terribly responsive. The vehicle had seen better days- the handles on the roof of the car were nonexistent.
