A fantastic tour with a great host. The day was planned to perfection with nothing being too much trouble for our host, Ian. Lots of care was taken by Ian to make sure that the day was special for us. I cannot recommend this enough.
-
We loved this trip. Our driver (and the owner) Ian was incredible. Very knowledgable and very kind. The pace of the trip was great. It sounds like a lot of stops, but it's just right. He knows how to beat the tourist buses and has all the connections. He offers to take pictures wherever. We parked at Cape Point and he made us hot chocolate and coffee with biscuits. It was beautiful. Would definitely tour with him again.
-
This was one of the greatest tours i have ever went on in the world. Ian was Awesome! He went out of his way to provide the best guided tour fit for us and he had extensive knowledge Great vehicle with AC. Beat the crowds. Our tour wound up being just our party of 2 Better than any other tour in Capetown! Never felt rushed. Brought us to a great place to eat and even brewed up some tea and coffee. May be a little more than the dumb guided bus tours BUT WELL WORTH IT. When I am back, I will surely book again with AFRICANMOON! We saw everything capetown had to offer Thank you IAN from your New York guests. I wish i could post photos because we were able to take so many incredible Ones. A++++++++++++

A fun day spent at Cape Point and short wine tasting which was perfect for us. The highlight of the tour was definately the penguins at Simon's Town. A day well spent!

Ian from African Moon Adventures picked us up right on time and took us for an amazing day along the Cape and for wine tasting! We made many stops driving through the Cape so we could take pictures. Ian new the best places to stop and the scenery was incredible. The drive along the coast is absolutely breathtaking. Ian told us about all the different bays we were stopping at, Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Noordhoek, kommetjie where we saw surfers, cape point, False Bay, etc... we stopped at an ostrich farm where we got to hand feed them! Then we went to Cape Point and Ian even made us tea and coffee with biscuits at the south western most point! What a great memory! We then went up the funicular, just a short ride, to the top lighthouse. The views were incredible and Ian was more than happy to take way to many pictures of us. We then headed to Simons Town to see the penguins! That was so great and again the view was incredible. We then had lunch at a local restaurant which was nice and had a view as well. We stopped at a few more places to see a shark spotting point and then to see a couple seals close up on a market pier! We then went in search of wine! We had four wine tastings at Constantia Glen. The backdrop was beautiful and we sat outside in the perfect afternoon weather. Ian then dropped us back at our hotel. It was a great day and great memory. Thanks so much Ian!

We were lucky and had the tour all to ourselves with the owner, Ian. Ian was fantastic, very informative and personable, and genuinely fun to be with. He took us on a tour down the coast, in the opposite direction most tours operate, so the timing allowed us to enjoy the activities with minimal other tourists jam packing the site. Lovely towns along the coast, a stop at the Cape Reserve and Cape of Good Hope where we saw the lighthouse and baboons walking around, fed the ostriches at an ostrich farm, enjoyed the penguins up close at Boulder Beach and finished the day at a lovely winery for tastings. Ian even tailgated on the beach at the Cape, with tea and biscuits, brewed up on a hot plate. It was typical of the thoughtful touches he put on the tour. We highly recommend Ian and African Moon Adventures!
