We did not enjoy this tour as much as we had hoped. The description was way more exciting than the actual tour turned out to be. Our guide started the tour by telling us he wasn't sure how many of the attractions we would be able to see since there were a lot of closures due to the Tet holiday. When we arrived to the first temple, we noted that our guide did not seem very confident in his English so he did not command our group's attention. He just let us all wander around only offering bits and pieces of information to a couple of us. At the next stop along side of the road, he started telling a couple of us about the Cham people but the other people in our group missed the information because it was so loud and they could not hear/understand him. We found ourselves having to relay bits and pieces of information that we could understand to each other throughout the entire tour. We also noticed that our driver and guide were trying to fill time by taking us to a bunch of random spots even though they were closed. For example, we walked along a dirt road looking into the locked/fenced greenhouses trying to see the different types of flowers grown. We also stopped at a random closed building in Mushroom Village that was growing black mushrooms. It was interesting to see how they are grown but again, standing on a dirt road looking over a fence wasn't all that ideal. I'd rather have the tour end early than to waste my day visiting random closed places. Lunch was not included as part of this tour but our guide asked if we would like to stop and have lunch. He took us to a restaurant that did not have a menu so he just ended up ordering random dishes for us and we had no idea what the cost would be. Thankfully the cost was not huge but the food was not that great either. Overall this tour was just ok. I may have rated it better if we were actually able to see some of the sites and understand our guide a little better.
