    Group people also very nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Halong Bay qnd the caves. Our tour guide was excellent. We enjoyed a great lunch on the cruise boat while viewing the amazing structures in the bay. Being able to enjoy a row boat cruise in a small section of the bay was great.
Walking thru an area of the caves was breathtaking. Really incredible to walk thru the caves and see the magnificent limestone structures. A must to see

  • 22-Jan-2020

Our guide was knowledgable, humorous and took care of us well. The lunch on the boat was so much more than we anticipated-- beautiful, expansive and delicious! And of course, the sites of the Bay-- our guide gave us multiple opportunities to get just the right picture and to take in all the beauty the bay and the cave had to offer. We highly recommend this tour as part of a visit to Vietnam.

  • 25-Dec-2019

A great tour overall! Our tour guide, Fic, gave us the rundown on many cultural aspects of Vietnam, and delivered a raw and sarcastic commentary during the trip (which was amazing, btw). There's not much walking involved so you won't break a sweat enjoying the amazing views of Halong Bay and the stalagmites/stalactites in the cave!

    1) Take note that the food on the ferry is shared in tables of 6, so you may be sharing with strangers if your group is small

    2) Remember to bring cash if you decide to take the bamboo boat ride; a local suggested that you tip ~10% of the ticket price. They love USD, though.

Great tour guide and tour with interesting history and information. Great driver. Big drive and day for one place to visit but all worth it. The food on the cruise was amazing and the caves were a great visit.

  • 09-Oct-2019

The trip at halong bay was a great experience but the bus that we traveled hanoi-halong bay and halong bay-hanoi was terrible. The seats are SO CRAMP and so SOLID HARD, straight up right, making our waist and rear pain like no tomorrow. I even shifted to an empty seat but the driver asked me to f off to my original seat in no way polite. The seat remained empty the entire journey back to hanoi and we have ache all over our body.

  • 07-Oct-2019

Awesome guide and driver. Long day, but worth it! I recommend this tour if you have a short time in Hanoi!

  • 02-Sep-2019

David was a great guide giving us lots of history and information and had a great sense of humor. The boat cruise among the limestone mountains was breathtaking and the meal they served was delicious and filling. We hiked into the Heavenly Palace cave and David pointed out many formations. From there we went to an area to ride in a bamboo boat or kayak, surrounded by the monoliths. We were able to rest on the 3.5 hr. drive back to town. A full, but fulfilling day!

  • 26-Aug-2019

Very well organized, the food on the boat is great, the guide is nice but somehow i feel they are away from complete experience as thailand offer. I am not talking here about the nature, but about guides attitude, informations, history. In vietnam the guide is not telling you stories, he is just a person who takes care of you. We would like to hear stories about those places, about history, way of leaving etc.

  • 16-Aug-2019

Our tour guide Duong was very knowledgeable of the history of Ha Long Bay and the cave, encouraged us to ask questions; told us where to take pics; to summarize our full day tour, Ha Long Bay and the cave tour were great except for the very hot weather. I'm going back to Hanoi but not in August.
