It was rainy a good part of the day but the views were fantastic. The narrow road is quite an experience. I’m glad that I was not driving.

Kai was so cool and knowledgeable, he also made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. I recommend this tour! Super fun and a beautiful drive!
-
Kaipo was our awesome tour guide. He has such a funloving, silly, locals BRUDDAH personality. He safely drove us through all day without anyone feeling nauseous. He always asked what people felt like doing and if we wanted to stop. We got breakfast and lunch and it was great! We enjoyed the stops and knew we were in good hands the whole time! The journey is beautiful, definitely recommend it! The last waterfall and the black sands beach are the sightseeing highlights. Kaipo was very knowledgeable and told history of Hawaii with passion! Be ready for some dad jokes!!!

Beacause it rained all day I was grateful that Ky was driving the zigzaggy road to Hana. He handled the switchbacks with ease and so we were able to enjoy the scenery. Ky was very knowledgeable about the flora and history of the area.
The rain made the stops less enjoyable than normal but the umbrellas provided helped immensely. -
Let’s start with our guide, Kai! He was so energetic and thorough! He cracked us up all day long and it was very evident that he loves his home, Maui! His knowledge of plant life was unbelievable!
The van was comfortable and clean and it was easy to take in all the beauty along the ride. I recommend sitting on the left side because the road hugs are so cool and thrilling!
Kai pretty much let us dictate our day with plenty of stops along the way.
Just a marvelous experience all around. Mahalo! Maui - no ka oi! -
It was great and relaxing. Food not so good. Justin (tour guide) was very knowledgeable of the area. He knew exactly where to stop to get the perfect photos.
-
We had a real enjoyable trip. Our guide, Ky, was the best. He made the tour. He gave us an indeph history of the area, told folklore, names of vegetation, names of the landmarks, etc. All with humor. Just a really good day.
-
Looked like tour guide slept in his clothes, limited knowledge and info about tour sites, no greeting and never told us his name, he enjoyed driving fast without regard to the discomfort of those in the back of the vehicle. The tour guide makes the difference for a 10 to 12 hour tour but not our guide.
-
I'll rate it a 4 if it was not winter. The weather was bad that I think they should've cancelled the tour for safety reasons, esp if the operator don't have a satellite phone. Road being very narrow and zigzag/ small bridge, no rails, getting flooded/and we did experience rock slides. Safety should had been the priority NOT money.

We enjoyed the trip to Hana! Our tour guy, Chris, was good, but didn't tell us a lot of stories.
We stopped in a place to buy honey and go to the restroom, and the portable bathroom were filthy dirty. Not a good place to stop, especially because I believe people in the tour were not interested in buying honey. The rest of the trip was very interesting. Had lunch at the black sand beach and it was spectacular.
