My first time in Renaissance Ho Chi Minh. I had an enjoyable stay . All the staff is very friendly. Especially David Ten Nhan Vien , he is very helpful and friendly He has the best service. I would recommend my friends and colleagues to stay here.

We left our regular tour to try out Viet Fun Travel. On time pick up. Only five tourists in comfortable minibus. Guide Thuy was very helpful in assisting my wife to transfer in and out of bus, boats and sampan. Visit to various craft producers. River boat to two islands and round trip on sampan. Excellent lunch with, for us, unusual preparation of fish and good assistance by restaurant staff and our fellow local tourist couple who were from Hanoi. We particularly appreciated small size group and personal attention. Recommended and value deal.

We booked our one day tour to Mekong Delta and the Floating Market directly via the website of Fun Viet Travel that cost us 30 USD per person. The Floating Market were two single boats in the middle of the Mekong Delta. At the end of the tour we asked the other travlers how much they paid and they only paid 11 USD per person! We paid almost three times the price than most of the others did. I would recommend you not to book the tour via the agency. Furthermore, if you only have a day do not take the floating market tour as there are only two boats. After I contacted the agency to ask them why their price was so much more than usual we did never got a reply from them.

We had a great time doing this day trip. Everything was great. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. He made us enjoy the entire trip with his humor and stories. He made us feel closer to Vietnamese culture and people after this trip. All of the reviews that say that this is a great trip are right on the money..

This was probably the best tour I went on during my holiday in Vietnam. The tour guide was great and the experience was amazing! The lunch that was provided was quite small, but you can buy more if you want (or just do what we did and have an early dinner).

3 adults and 4 children ages 10 to 16 loved this day tour. The coach ride to My Tho and Mekong Delta from our hotel in Ho Chi Minh was comfortable, with the only negative being that the lovely guide struggled with English and so she repeated herself over and over. The boat ride on the Mekong was definitely a highlight - such a busy river. We enjoyed the first part of the island visit the most. Here the brave ones had the opportunity to hold a large snake, try different foods and witness how candy is made (it's amazing). Lunch was okay, the music show was strange and having to spend lots of time waiting (they want you to buy from the markets) was a bit of a pain. However, the village boat rides were wonderful, as were the local people. Of course, tips are expected which is fine, given how little money the tour costs. I have rated this as excellent because very few tours charge only $35 AUD or so, making it very affordable for a large family.

We did the 1 day tour to the Mekong Delta but in all fairness we went to My Tho and the 2-3 islands directly in front of My Tho. We expected to go a little deeper into the Delta towards Ben Thre as advertised. Our guide Thomas was great and provided lots of useful information. We were lucky with traffic in the morning so we arrived a good half hour earlier to My Tho, yet still the tour was carried out at high speeds past a honey farm, fruit restaurant with singing (hilarious) and then a candy factory, then we sailed to the next island for lunch, it was barely 11:00 in the morning so we were told to go explore the island without the guide but there was really nothing worth visiting and we ended up being sent back by locals towards the restaurant where we waited another 30 minutes for lunch. The lunch was very good and I recommend the $5 supplement so you get fresh fish turned into spring rolls at your table. We also had a little rowing tour which lasted maybe 10 minutes but the canal was so crowded with other boats and the sides of this canal were just mud and dead water-coconut trees so it wasn’t lush like on the Picture shown. As everything was so rushed we were already back in Saigon at 3PM! How can one call this a full day tour? We got an idea of Mekong but definitely not the prettiest part.
