Booked through Jet2 (Jeep Safari East - Mountains / Cave of Zeus / Lasinthos). Our guide/driver Giánnis (John) made the whole trip. He was very funny and very informative. He would randomly stop and show us the different plants, herbs and wildlife. He told us many things about the history of Crete as well as the culture. We stopped at several quaint villages. We got to taste different cheeses up in the mountains and play with the goats. The Cave of Zeus cost €6 per person which felt slightly expensive but is worth the trek if you're able to do it. We had lunch at Lasinthos Eco Park and the food was delightful. Loved the journey up and down the mountains. The views on the trip were spectacular. Really great day out. Highly recommend.

Amazing trip, Chris was our guide, he is absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable of the Greek history. Highly recommend, and you’ll be in for a surprise :)

One of the best tours we’ve been on! Darrel our driver was really friendly, knowledgable and accommodating. The sights were amazing, the lunch was delicious (would love to cook pork like that!). Would recommend this tour. My only tip is wear walking boots for the steep walk up to the caves. Thoroughly enjoyed :)

We had a fantastic day out on a jeep safari around the Minoan trail. The driver, Darrel, was so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about everything we saw, answering all our questions. Would highly recommend it as a good way of seeing more of the island.

What a great day! From start to finish, our tour guide and driver (and waiter!) Jason was awesome. Both knowledgeable and entertaining as well as an accomplished driver, Jason made the tour come to life. All of the stops and the information about Crete and it's history were amazing. Totally recommended, if you do one trip whilst on Crete, do this one!

We had a brilliant day exploring the non-touristy bits of Crete. Geoff was our guide who made the day an absolute pleasure - he was very knowledgable and clearly loved Crete. The tone was a very relaxed, thoroughly enjoyable and I would completely recommend joining one of these days if you're in Crete. It was great to see some incredible scenery and learn so much about the island. Thanks Geoff, it was a fabulous day.

I was with my mother and we had a fantastic day. We come from the Netherlands and had a Dutch speaking guide Ruud 1. Ruud showed us a real piece of Crete. Through beautiful landscapes on a 16 km offroad road, past small villages, to a goat farmer and we enjoyed a delicious meal. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. We also really enjoyed Ruud our driver. His enormous knowledge and love for Crete was infectious and all with a good dose of humor. Today was a huge surprise and we recommend it to everyone to do! And Ruud (1): Thank you again!

Darrell was an entertaining and knowledgeable guide! He combined great insights into parts of Crete that make is so special. Our small group enjoyed all of the stops which included small local villages 900 metres above sea level! The best excursion we have been on!

This was the highlight of our trip! Our guide Darrel was very friendly and super informative. We stopped many times to take in the sights and taste some delicious local olive oil, honey and fresh goat cheese. The path up the mountain was bumpy, but so much fun! Definitely bring a jumper as the temperature drops once you get up there. Great lunch and wine included, would highly recommend to anyone planning to visit Crete.
