Youroff-road tour starts in the Charles de Gaulle Square at the Herestrau Entrance Tube, in Bucharest. Your tour guide will pick you up and you will start your road trip through the Prahova Valley, one of Romania's most popular touristic areas. Your first destination is the Bucegi Mountains Plateau, and you will stop at the Bolboci Lake. Commonly called the "Sea of Bucegi", this lake is surrounded by a thick coniferous forest, and it is located at an altitude of 1,438 meters. Next, you will descend at an altitude of 1,197 meters, where you will visit the Scropoasa Lake. This reservoir was created in 1929 in order to generate hydroelectricity, but today has become a recreational lake.

We will then stop at the Transylvania Amphitheatre, where you will come in contact with the local traditions and visit the on-site animal farm.

Your experience continues with the quaint mountain villages of Mgura and Petera. Here, you will discover the pastoral way of living in the Carpathian Mountains. The shepherds here live in complete solitude for most of the year, with only their dogs to defend them from the dangers of the forests.

An off-road tour through the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Mountains will give you the opportunity to admire views that only the wilderness of the Carpathian Mountains can provide. In the evening, you will return to Bucharest.
