Know More about this tour

You will be picked up by a private air-conditioned vehicle, followed by a drive through, St. George's, the prettiest capital in the Caribbean.

The first stop on your day tour of Grenada is Concord Waterfall, a 2 km (1.2 mi) drive up a leafy lane beside a stream, dotted with Grenadian agriculture: nutmeg, bananas, cocoa, and many other plants of interest. Located about 12.5 miles (20 km) north of St George's. Concord is the first in a series of three waterfalls and the only one in the series that is accessible without hiking there.

When you arrive, cool off with a dip in the clear, chilly pool of water at the bottom of the falls, or just take time to enjoy the peaceful rainforest surroundings if you dont want to get wet. Then hop back on to drive through the fishing village of Gouyave, where youll visit the Gouyave Nutmeg Processing Station, one of the islands largest sites for processing nutmeg, the spice for which Grenada the Isle of Spice is most famous.

Continue your day tour to the northern of the island. By now, you're ready for lunch (at your own expense). Our usual venue is Petite Anse: a delightful rural setting, with great varied local food.

After lunch, your next stop is the River Antoine Rum Distillery on Grenada's northeast coast, in the parish of St Patrick. The oldest functioning water-powered distillery in the Caribbean, River Antoine opened in the late 1700s and continues to produce its strong rum available only in Grenada using the same old-fashioned methods. After a 15-minute distillery tour, enjoy a sample of the potent liquor.

The tour will continue through La Poterie and Tivoli, then through Pearls Airport, disused since the Americans 'intervened' in 1983. Today, sheep graze under the remains of two old Soviet-built planes. After driving through Grenville, Grenada's second biggest town, Spices can be bought at several of the stops. Hop back on, we set off to the middle of the Island, to the mountainous rainforest, where we stop at Grand Etang crater lake your last stop.

Finally, head southwest, passing through the town of Grenville, to your last stop, Grand Etang Lake in Grand Etang National Park. Sitting pretty amid Grenadas rainforest-filled interior, the crater lake is a beautiful spot to end your tour of a beautiful island. You have a few minutes here to take pictures and admire the lush vegetation surrounding the lake.

After the tour is finished, it is time to relax with a half an hour spa massage.

Your day tour will end with hotel drop-off

Tony is amazing! He is so knowledgable about the island! We had so much fun and we really felt like we saw all of the island. We toured the chocolate factory, saw different beaches, the abandoned airport, the forts, the waterfall, had lunch at a beautiful restaurant at a hotel we would like to stay at next time we visit! Usually at the end of an excursion we are left feeling tired after a full day, but the excellent massage at a beautiful spa fully rejuvenated us! Thank you so much Tony for an excellent experience!

We booked our trip with Tony, while spending our anniversary in Grenada, September 22, 20. We were fortunate, that we had Tony all to ourselves and a private tour. We spent the entire day with Tony, who has a thorough knowledge of the island, including current and historical high points. He went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and making a memorable day, which included a tour to the Annendale Waterfalls, the Caribbean's oldest rum distillery, the spice factory, a great lunch ocean side, culminating in a 30 minute massage that was very relaxing. We would do it again, if we get back to Grenada. We both highly recommend Tony's Full Day Pure Grenada Tour to anyone visiting. Thanks again, Tony, and we hope to see you soon!

Al earned the easiest five stars I could give a tour guy. He made the tour such a memorable experience for both Janae and I. This trip was our first trip together and he made our last day on the island the best by far. He gave us such a warm greeting and made sure to ask for our input as to what activities we wanted to do for the day. We loved that because we didn't want to repeat activities we already did the previous days. Janae really wanted to go to Concord Waterfalls, which was one of many stops. We noticed he spoke to the vendors at every stop to make each stop that more entertaining and special. Janae's favorite part had to be his camera skills lol but I can't complain because our first photo album will be started off the right way. Not only did we enjoy the experience as a couple, we also feel as though we made a friend in Grenada. There is not one thing we can complain about or even want to change. He has set the bar very high for the other tour guides on the island. We plan to keep in contact and hey, we never know what that will hold for us in the future. Al, if we didn't thank you enough, we once again would like to extend our deepest appreciation. You made Janae's birthday and our first trip together magical, fun and definitely full of laughs. For anyone who is considering a trip to Grenada, I strongly recommend you book with Al. And when I say strongly...I strongly recommend you add chaser to the Rum Punch. When you go, you will understand :D. It truly was the best tour ever!
