Overview
Ngorongoro CraterLocated in theNgorongoro Conservation Area, the Ngorongoro Crater is the worlds largest intact volcanic caldera and has often been referred to as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. It lies in an exceptional geographical position, forming a spectacular bowl of 265 km2 with a heavily forested rim rising to 600m. The crater is thought to have appeared 2.5 million years ago from a large active volcano whose cone collapsed. It is home to between 20 and 30,000 wild animals including the highly endangered black rhino.

Pick up inKaratu and drive to Ngorognoro Crater. After about 30 min drive arrive at the Ngorongoro gate. Descend down into the crater for a half day game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hippos, buffalo, ostrich, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. Later drive back to Karatu and end your journey with us.

Me and my husband decided to go Ngorongoro Crater full day with Agama Tours and Safaris after we had alot of search for safari Tour operator The guide was both days on time and even earlier. He was really nice and on Safari he had a good feeling for the time he should stay by the animals. Moreover we could tell him if we wanted to go somewhere else or which animals we wanted to see and he endeavored to fulfill it. The Safari was great! We saw a lot of animals and after searching a lot we even saw a lion really near. The car was great and we also got enough water from the Company All in all I would recommend this Agency to everybody! A reliable, helpful and fair organisation!! From the Adventure beginning, I knew we were in good hands. With the guide Adumba and super chef Isa in the kitchen, we were in business. Our 5 days in 4 national parks of northern Tanzania was well paced, well organised and great value for the price we paid. The information on what we were seeing animals, plants were interesting, Tanzania have many beatiful things to see We had a good time! we have got see all the big Five and small five The food surprisingly good, the truck pretty comfortable and the driving safe. Amazing experience. Thank you AGAMA TOURS Little advice: For the perfect safari experience, start with Tarangire national park, skip Manyara, then go with Ngorongoro and finally Serengeti.

We saw a lot of animals thanks to Jambo, our guide! the car was in good shape (a lot of 4 wheels had a malfunction of the engine along the way..) Jambo drove excellent and we had the time of our lives! The price/ quality ratio is great and Kabalo was quick in responding. Def recommend.
