The tour starts at 8:30am and you will be picked up for the hotels lobby located within Manila Bay or Makati area. An extra charge maybe applied for hotel pick-up in other locations, subject to confirmation.

Upon arrival at the lake you will board a motorized outrigger (Bangka) for 30 minutes to Taal Volcano. Please bring your sunscreen, hat or mask as the journey is quite dusty and hot. It was an island formed by previous eruption, so there arent many tress for shade along the way.
You will be assisted by an island coordinator to trek up to a wide expanse hardened black lava landscape. The trek is a 0.25miles (400m) elevation for 1.2miles (2km). You will take approximately an hour to reach the top, to enjoy the incredible view from the top and the lake view. Lunch will be served at the shoreline resort on the way back.
After the trip, you will be transported back to the hotel safely.

Tour guide was fantastic, he spoke very good English and was very knowledgable. Lake Taal is beautiful and is the only lake inside a lake inside a lake.

I really enjoyed this trip. The van ride was not too long and the two guys were very nice. Good driver too. The boat ride across the lake was a little choppy but we didn't mind. You had 2 choices to climb the mountain, horse or foot. We chose foot. It was pretty tough but fun. The challenge is that there were a lot of horses. Made for some tough areas. Not to mention all horse droppings you had to avoid. The view was awesome. Definitely worth the money and climb.
