Great and unique experience, don’t miss it while visiting Lithuania. Andreas was a wonderful guide and driver.
It is an amazing unique sight and well worth it if you have the time. You can bring (or buy when you’re there) your own cross to put there, if you wish. It’s a long drive and you’re there for about an hour - there was one stop off to see some cross tributes including one to Ronald Reagan but no toilets (except nature which I didn’t fancy). There are toilets at The Hill of Crosses but let the driver/guide know if you might need the loo beforehand. We stopped at a lovely place for lunch but were a little rushed so didn’t really have time to enjoy the grounds. Pick up is not at your hotel unless it’s a private tour. All in all we were really glad we went. The guide was friendly and very informative about Lithuania’s road to independence.
excellent trip well worth the money ! jurate was the guide she was brilliant very very friendly and informative on the drive there and back learnt loads about lithuania from her
Fantastic experience of the full-day tour to The Hill of Crosses from Vilnius! It was a small group of only three people and our guide Jurate was so lovely, she was passionate about sharing Lithuanian history and was also flexible with adapting the tour to us. I would highly recommend if you have the time to spare- the entire tour took 9 hours and around 5-6 hours of that was spent driving. For me it was absolutely worth it because the experience was so unique and Jurate was such a fantastic guide.
We were a small group on this tour and Andreas was easy to follow when explaining the various events and customs of Lithuanian history. It was an insightful and well organised tour. Thank you.
Excellent day with Andres, a very good guide. He explained everything carefully and let us know a lot on Lithuanian history. Highly recommended !

Great conversation with our guide. Learned a lot about the history of the area, and many current day topics on Lithuania. Would highly recommend a guided tour like this, especially if you want more history than is on the plaque. Always impressed at the guides and their language abilities!
