Know More about this tour

You will visit Luxor's West Bank with the first stop at the Valley of the kings, the necropolis of the Pharaonic during the New Kingdom. These tombs have the finest colored decorations. After that visit the Valley of the Queens to see some other style of tombs for the daughters of the ancient Pharaohs.
Your next stop will be the amazing Mortuary temple of hatshepsut. This temple was constructed by the 18th dynasty Queen Hatshepsut (1473 1458 BC) as a unique structure rising from the desert in the shape of imposing terraces. This temple was used as a monastery in the Christian era. This is why it is famous for the name El Deir Al Bahry, or the Western Monastery.

Then your last stop in the west bank will be at the gigantic Colossi of memnon. These two 18 meters high statues are the only remaining items of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. During the Roman era, music was heard coming out of one of the statues that were attributed by the Greeks.
After the visit you will have lunch in a local restaurant to enjoy the tasty Egyptian food before return back to your hotel having many unforgettable memories.

Absolute must if you are visiting Luxor. Dina Danial, our Egyptologist guide, was truly outstanding. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about the ancient sites we visited that it made the day unique and wonderful. Ask for her if you can - she is exceptional. We found the tour incredibly interesting and learned so much. Particularly loved visiting the Tomb of Tutankhamen we paid extra for this as this had been a childhood dream. The lunch was local and authentic Egyptian - truly delicious! All in all, we would highly recommend this tour. It was informative, awe-inspiring and flexible to our needs.
