  • Brilliant tour you see everything.

  • We enjoyed seeing all the sights, but it was difficult hearing our tour guide with all the surrounding crowds. It would have been nice to have vox boxes and ear pieces so we could really appreciate all the sights and explanations that the guide narrated.

  • We had an excellent tour guide. Notwithstanding that our guide was forced to translate to 3 languages we all were able to hear and understand her well. I think 2 language group would have been better.

  • Good mix of transport - bus, walking and boat.
Alice appeared to be very knowledgeable
Had higher expectations of the river cruise portion of the tour
    Lunch was excellent
Would recommend this tour as it gives a good overview of Prague

  • Prague is a wonderful city, so to see the castle outside only, take a river tour, enjoy lunch and walk the historic Charles Bridge was obviously very enjoyable. What was not enjoyable was the tour guide. The day started with confusion over the groups and vehicles. Our tour guide said it was always like that with Bohemia Travel Service. Most guests went on a large tour bus, but I was in the overflow group that went in a small minibus. We went on a short sightseeing tour of the town, on the way to the castle. The microphone didn't work and it was hard to see out of the small windows.

Once at the castle, she gave a very brief description as we walked around. What seemed to interest her the most was the free lunch she was getting. We were supposed to have lunch with a view. There was no view. The lunch was 3 courses and tasted really good. As stated my complaints are not about the tour, only the tour guide.

The boat trip was enjoyable, with an interesting commentary given by the boat crew.

She gave very little commentary and said nothing as we walked over the famous Charles Bridge. When I asked her about the statues on the bridge, she just dismissed them as Catholic mythology. She did, however, share her homophobic and xenophobic views on foreigners. She said things were better under communism, as the gypsies had to work.

The tour was supposed to end at 5pm, back where we started, at Narodni Street. The tour was supposed to include a stroll around the Jewish Quarter and Old Town to see the Astronomical Clock. This did not occur. She ended the tour in the town square at 3pm, two hours early. I would have complained, but we were all glad to be rid of this bitter old woman. She asked for a tip at the end and, pointedly, nobody gave her anything.

This is the first negative review I've given anyone, but it had to be said. I know this is just one tour guide, but the company shouldn't employ such people, as it spoils their reputation. My day wasn't ruined, as I'd still seen some great sights, and, as a bonus, I still had the rest of the afternoon to explore by myself!

  • Fantastic tour - the guide was great and gave us a ton of information about everything we were seeing. Highly recommend this tour.

  • The tour guide was rushed, as she was translating in Spanish as well as English, though it was supposed to be an English speaking trip. The 3 course meal took way longer than was needed, wasting more than an hour of our sight-seeing time, and the main course was fried chicken and potatoes- something else could have been provided in a boxed lunch. The river cruise was nice. I think the cost of the tour was not justified though.

  • it was a good tour but make sure you are up for walking a lot and up and down hills. it is pretty much a walking tour with a bus taking you up a hill and dropping you off the rest of the day is all walking. Lunch was ok.

  • I would struggle to recommend this tour which is a shame as I use Viator a lot. We weren't made aware that this tour was multi lingual so the guide rushed to speak both English and Spanish for a large group of 22 and we couldn't hear her properly. Lunch was not "luxury" and the chicken was cold.
