Amazing tour, really loved it! Very nice guide, talked both in Spanish and English. Salt flats are the highlight, we also had a beautiful walk through the Purmamarca mountains (it was a slight change in the tour because of the weather, handled really good)

Excellent guide (Cecilia) and driver, patient and with good humor. Great music onboard during the trip. The surroundings are awesome, same as mentioned in the description of the trip. It was a challenge for me to get to 4170m altitude (some headache, no coca leaves), but there are several stops on the way for acclimatisation which help and the drive up was slow, allowing everyone to manage. Fully recommend you take this one if you spend a few days in Salta.

This tour was a good way to cover a lot of ground in one day, but there were a few disappointments. The Hill of Seven Colors was cut from our tour, possibly due to timing. The guide told us it wasn't that great in the afternoon anyway and only pointed to it in passing before our last toilet stop. We did not get any photos or even a clear view of it. It seems like the route could be reversed to see it in the morning or it should not be advertised as a stop. The tour was also advertised as English and Spanish. As English speakers we felt like we got about 40% of the information. The guide would speak for lengthy periods in Spanish, then give a short English explanation. The main reason we booked this tour was the salt flats. It was disappointing that our guide used the time we were allotted for photographs at the flats to give the English version of the tour. We lost about 10 of the 20 minutes for photographs hearing what the others had on the drive.

Hope to visit Salta again in the future! The tour guide we had was phenomenal and didn’t lose her momentum at all during the excursion.

Overall a thoroughly enjoyable day. The bus had big windows, so that you could admire the beautiful views of the mountains from any seat. Guide was friendly with a good level of English. However, would've liked some more time at Pumamarca because it was a beautiful little village but we barely had enough time to walk around the market. Also we arrived to see the 7 colour hill as the sun was setting and we couldn't see any of the colours due to the back lighting. This moment was a little disappointing and wish we'd seen it during the morning, when it is seen at it's best.

A really fantastic way to get an insight of the amazing landscape that Argentina has to offer. The tour guide was very enjoyable at all, whether the explanation about points of interests or his knowledge about general things about the locals. He was very good to understand ether way very good english and clear for tourists in spanish. The bus driver did a very good job as well during the long 12+ hours day. The only con has been the circumstance that’s more a sightseeing only tour, with very short stays at each places that we loved to explore even longer (San Antonio de Cobre was only a drive through with a stopover to have lunch, no
exploring by foot. The other thing in Salinas Grandes, consider if you need to make use of the toilets and waste your time being in the queue or have time to make remarkable footage out in the salt field ;-)
Would definitely recommend to take that tour!

A long day in a minivan with enough stops and a lunch on the way to finally arrive at the Salinas Grandes. A lot of beautiful and different landscapes to be seen along the way. Our guide was professional and enthusiastic and told us a lot. Overall an interesting experience!

Really great tour. Our guide was good, we had a small group of english and spanish speaking people so he had to do the commentary twice. The only issue was sometimes he was hard to understand on the bus sound system, but he was knowlegeable, friendly and had a sense of humour. The scenery at this time of the year was like being on mars! Despite reaching over 4000 metres there was no snow but it was still stunning. The lunch was fine - we tried a few local specialties, as they say when in Rome... We could certainly feel the effects of the altitude and they warn you about it - deeper breathing, tired muscles etc, but it was ok as long as you did nothing strenuos. The trip across the high plateau makes you realize how big the area is and the salt flats are an entirely different experience. We were lucky to drive right across them - apparently thats not that common. The only issue I have is that Purmamarca felt like a bit of an add-on and was quite hurried. Would have liked to spend an hour or 2 wandering this beautiful town we only got 20 minutes or so. The drive back from there to Salta is LONG, so be aware of that. A full 12 hour day, over 500km travelled - it's great until after the salt flats then a bit of a yawn back from Purmamarca but I guess it's a long way and you have to get back somehow! Overall would recommend, the scenery is amazing but be prepared for a long day.

Fantastic tour and very good guide.

Our guide was not the most professional one but very sympathetic and did her best. We enjoyed even though her English was not excellent. The landscapes along the route are very impressive. There is a lot of time spent sitting in the car. However, we made several stops, quite quick though. The trip is worth it. We enjoyed seeing the Salinas Grandes, Purmamarca and San Antonio de los Cobres. So much beautiful views!
