Know More about this tour

Your qualified Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza at 8am and drive you in air-conditioned comfort to the Pyramids of giza. Witness the three largest pyramids, built by the pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, admire the half-lion, half-human Sphinx, and visit the Valley Temple, where Khafre's body was likely prepared for mummification. (Please note that if you want to enter one of the pyramids an additional fee is payable: your guide can help you arrange this.)

After an early lunch at a local restaurant (around 10:30am), you'll drive downtown, to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, home to around 250,000 Egyptian antiquities including the iconic death mask of the boy king Tutankhamen and a bust of Nefertiti. (Please note that entry to the Royal Mummy Room is not included in the ticket.) On the way, you'll pass by Tahrir Square.

After about three hours exploring the museum, drive to your final stop, Islamic Cairo. Discover the Khan el-khalili bazaar, Egypt's oldest and perhaps most colorful souk, replete with leather, brassware, gold, perfumes, spices, and much, much more. Your driver will drop you at your hotel around 4pm.

Visiting inside the Pyramid and the panoramic view of the pyramids for photos was really good, Driver was always on time and was really helpful!

Our tour guide was simply AMAZING. Door to door service with a smile. He made sure we were well taken care of; he was fun and knowledgeable. He shared all the background on everyplace we went and he took TONS of pictures for us and sent them to us. It was amazing but our guide made it spectacular

Ahmed was our guide and Yusuf was our driver. They both treated my husband and I like family. Ahmed is very knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history and was able to explain fine details in a very organized way. He also took great pictures and helped us haggle with the shopkeepers. Ahmed was so generous and hospitable that he even bought us street food. All in all, great experience and highly recommend

I had the best trip ever in Cairo. The pyramid tour was mind blowing, i could not believe my eyes are seeing the pyramids for real. The Egyptian museum was very educational, learnt Egyptian's past era's history, have seen the artifacts from 3,000 yrs ago! My tour guide Noha was very knowledgeable and helpful, she was great in sharing good stories about the pyramids and content of the museum. I learned a lot from her and from this tour. Highly recommended. Gly Dagdag Dubai UAE

We were met at the airport by our guide Ola, she was very knowledgeable and guided us through the city of Cairo, the antiques museum and the Giza Pyramid complex. We enjoyed hearing about Egyptian history from ancient times to recent times, and we learned a lot. In particular, we like the amazing museum and the camel ride at the Pyramids. The lunch was included in the tour and the food was tasty typical Egyptian cuisine, with local band. We enjoyed the free time at the Khalil market. The driver Mena was very skillful in navigating Cairo traffic taking us back to the airport on time.

Really good tour! As a solo traveller, I strongly recommend and the price is fair for what you get 😊 Driver Mohamed and guide Khaled were both polite, friendly and attentive, and showed us exactly on time. The pyramids is absolutely something you should do, and Khaled really added value by taking the time to share the stories and history, as well as taking as many photos as you wish. You are also unlikely to be hassled by touts if you travel with a guide. The view at the front of the pyramids is wonderful, but the real benefit of this tour is that guide and driver will take you to the other side to see the panoramic view quickly and comfortably. Similarly, Khaled added a lot of value at the Egyptian Museum, pointing out details and explaining parts of the history that I would never have noticed myself. The bazaar, as other reviews have said, is fine but a bit of a tourist trap. If pushed for time, cut this. After the trip, I was happy to tip both driver and guide. But they did not ask for a tip, and I did not get the impression I would have been hassled had I neglected to. Other useful information: The company was happy to arrange for me to be picked up at one hotel and dropped off at another, keeping my case in the boot the entire time, with no extra charge. If you opt for the "without meal" option, make sure you have something to eat before you go and bring some snacks - it's quite a long day and plenty of time in the car between stops to have a banana.

Being able to see these monuments that were thousands of years old was unbelievable. To be able to construct and build without today's modern tools was overwhelming. Seeing the skill and craftsmanship of the items in the museum was breathtaking.

This was our 3rd tour with EMO Tours which we booked after our first tour and requested the same tour guide and driver as we had before. Our first guide already had a tour but we did get the driver we requested. Mohamed was amazing, he expertly handled all of the Cairo traffic and left feeling like we had a new friend in Cairo. After being picked up at our hotel, we were taken to the street Bazzar first thing so we could walk the streets prior to all of the vendors opening up which made looking at the churches and sights easier and without being hassled by the vendors. Next we spent about 1.5 hours inside the Egyptian Museum where our guide (cannot remember his name) showed us all of the major highlights and kept us away from the very large groups inside the museum. After the museum, we spent time doing a little shopping (we requested) at the essential oils, papyrus paper and finishing at a souvenir shop hosted by EMO tours so we could do our shopping in peace without the hassle from the street vendors. All vendors in Egypt are extremely pushy so any store you can find where they allow you to shop in peace, is a major blessing. Our last tourist spot was the Giza Plateau, which was the highlight of the tour and our trip to Egypt. Our guide provided us with history of the pyramids and sphinx all while taking amazing pictures for us. We ended the day with lunch and included soup, pita bread with dips, your choice of lamb or chicken (or combo) which was served with rice and fries and fruit for dessert. A drink is not included with the lunch so make sure to have some pounds with you to pay if you do get a drink. I highly recommend booking your tours in Egypt with EMO Tours! You will not be disappointed.

Had an amzingly informative day and they were very nice and courteous. They helped us alot and eventually made a tour worth it. Special thanks to Mahmoud El Wakeel for being an amazing guide. They deserve five star and more.
