  • This trip was great value for money, the tranport was on time and even had free WiFi!. The day was organised well and we felt there was sufficient time at each place. Its a very long day But great if you have limited time in krakow.

  • Just a warning - this is a very long and emotionally tiring day. I can't review Auschwitz as such as I don't view it as a tourist attraction and think it would be disrespectful to the million plus people that died at Auschwitz-Birkenau to do so. What I will say though is that this part of the tour is very informative and gives a real insight to what happened there from a historical perspective which is what I was looking for. The Wieliczka Salt Mine is a light relief after the other visit. You will have the opportunity to have a meal here expect VERY slow service - the tour guide will give you 1hr 45mins for food for a reason!, but the salt mine itself is fascinating and well worth visiting. Both parts of the tour are done by professional guides from the respective places.

  • Picked up on time from our hotel we were last on so it was a bit of a squeeze on the minibus but comfortable enough once we got going. It took about an hour to get to Auschwitz which can you would expect was a very sobering sober experience but one which everyone should do. Only down side was how busy it was which meant you couldnt stop to look at the exhibits in any depth as the next group was right behind us. Our tour guide was awesom so knowledgable and spoke perfect English his history knowledge and respect for the setting really made the day. An hour for lunch in a local restaurant which caters for most tastes I found Poland really hard work with food as a vegetarian but was pleasantly surprised by the options here. The salt mine was a brilliant tour again a great guide some of the group had forgotten they were grown ups and he challenged them so we could all enjoy the tour underground. Its a long day but well worth it. We would have liked an option to be dropped back at our hotel as it meant a long cold walk in the dark after what had been a really fantastic day.

  • A most Historical, Factual and Emotional tour, our tour guide Conrad was exceptional answered every question with excellent knowledge of Auschwitz and Birkenau.
Take your camera, there are a couple of places that you are asked not to take photo's
The Tour is almost 3 hours of walking, so flat shoes are recommended

  • Excellent service, first class driver/ guide, Mark looked after our party of seven throughout the day. Pick up was promp from hotelt as per time advised after booking, lovely clean and comfortable VW minivan transported us throughout.
We had a lovely leisurely drive through Polish countryside and had time for coffee before Aushwitz tour and then after travelling to Salt Mines we had enough time for food in a lovely Polish resturaunt near venue which Mark recommended.
Both tours were very informative and excellent value for money, all worth seeing even though very emotional glimpse back in history.

  • Although this is a LONG DAY it is well worth it!

  • Fantastic full on day trip . Really looked after from start to finish , bus driver great tour guides fantastic , all amazing

  • very organised

  • This is definitely a day of two halves. We were at Auschwitz-Birkenau until about 3pm, and while it is obviously a very moving, and sometimes traumatising experience, I think everyone should do it. The salt-mines were amazing - particularly the sculptures. Tomasz, our driver was lovely, and got us where we needed to be in a very calm and friendly way. The guide who led us around Auschwitz-Birkenau met us at the salt mines and led us around there too, which was very nice. It's a hard day on the feet - lots of walking, and lots of steps in the salt-mines although they were great fun, but it's well worth it.

  • Meticulously planned and managed by viator. The guide was exceptionally good. Viator will always be my first choice for tour plans
