Our guide Caitlin was very informative, and knew how to keep her group awake on a 12 hour tour. She played Scottish music for us, and told us fascinating tales of Scottish history while we drove around. Caitlin honestly made the trip for us!

Our trip to Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands was fantastic! Everything was so enjoyable and well planned. Our driver, Rich, was entertaining, knowledgeable and funny. The stops along the way let us really experience the different landscapes. We are so glad we chose this trip!

Excellent tour, fun and informative. Murray our guide was not only very knowledgable but also lots if fun with trivias, singing and his artistic accordion music

Our guide was absolutely hilarious. Highly knowledgeable and very fun. We had such a great day and we highly recommend doing this trip with the Loch Ness cruise too!!

Our driver James was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. It was raining our whole trip that day, but I guess that's the norm here and explains why everything is so green here. Since it was raining we opted not to take the Loch Ness boat ride.

We had the lovely Jo as our driver for the trip to the Highlands and Loch Ness. She was knowledgable and unlike other drivers (often who bore you with stories during a coach trip) she was very well spoken and entertaining. We had a fault on the coach, on our way back to Edinburgh, but she dealt with it very professionally, didn't alarm us and the problem was dealt with swiftly. My only suggestion would be that perhaps the stops could be at better locations. The last stop we had was in a town that had hardly any places open, so would be good to have another location, but I understand that isn't always be possible.

Even though it's a long drive to Loch Ness, the beauty of the highlands and the nice (and funny) information from the guide are worth it. We got lucky with great subby weather as well as a wonderful guide like Fiona.
I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

Our driver Richard made the very long drive quite enjoyable with his humour and knowledge. Not much time to do things especially if you book the Loch Ness boat option. We had 20 mins at our first stop, 90 mins at Loch Ness (the boat tour is about 60 mins) and another 30 mins at a stop on our way back. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous, but be warned that you are seeing the majority of it through bus windows. The included lunch is a premade sandwich, a shortbread cookie and a small bottle of water.

This is a great tour to sit back and relax while you enjoy the scenery. The tour has A LOT of driving time, due to the distance between Edinburgh and the highlands. However, if you have a great guide like Gillian, the time will be filled with great stories, historical reference, interesting stops along the way, and of course, amazing scenery. St. Augustus is a nice area to walk around in if you do not want to to take the boat trip. The only letdown was the sandwich lunch which we ate on the bus. It was ok, but that was about it. Otherwise, the tour and chance to see the highlands was amazing and I highly recommend this tour.

This is a day tour starting from Edinburgh and visiting Glencoe, Loch Ness. The 12-hour tour with Tour guide Michael was very enjoyable. Michael drove the bus most of the tour, but at the same time he was trying his best to inform travelers about Scotland. He had a very thorough knowledge of Scotland as a whole and added a funny explanation of the excessive city, castle, and even sheep as we move on. He was a very pleasant and passionate guide. Thanks to him, I got to know more about Scotland, which helped me greatly with my schedule in Edinburgh later. By the time the tour was over, he even recommended some restaurants and bars in Edinburgh. The Highland Tour with Michael was fun enough to invest a whole day of my three days in Edinburgh. and I am willing to rejoin if there is another Scottish tour with him.
