  • Great tour! Too much walking. Great guide, Julio. The group was too big for one guide to handle. The guide checked everyone off at the square sent everyone off with an inexperienced guide who didn't stop and make sure everyone was with them. Other groups crossed and then couldn't find the bus.Never had that happen on a tour before.

  • Wasn’t what we were expecting
Pros-San Gimignano and Siena (cities themselves)
Cons-Farmhouse more like tiny B and B, wine and food @ farmhouse, tour guide w/ lg language barrier and very disorganized, tour disorganized (2 lg overall, arrived @ 1 stop after dark w/stores closed, not enough time @ S.G. and Siena

  • Don’t book, better off hiring a private car. First the bus was late then we got in a car accident. The food at the winery was horrible, plus u have to fight crowds to get a wine glass then you Get a teaspoon of wine. Book a smaller group tour or go by taxi,

  • Be prepared to walk and climb, but really an amazing experience with great guides.

  • From start to finish this was an amazing and wonderful tour. The pace of visiting the destinations and time allowed to explore was perfect, wine tasting and lunch were a superb and tasty experience, and the tour guides were warm and responsive. I will do this tour again next time I'm traveling with someone who has not seen Tuscany.

  • Interesting places, good driver and excellent 3 course lunch.

  • The whole experience was really great. We visited the town of San Giminiano, Monteriggioni and Siena. I was particularly surprised with the lunch and wine tasting quality - it was pretty great. We guides were very knowledgeable and nice. The guided tour in Siena was a great finish to the trip. Make sure to arrive on time!

  • If you love the Tuscan countryside post cards, this is for you! It is everything you see in photos and post cards and you feel like you are walking into an old world movie set. We had many great days in Italy but this was our favorite!

  • Great day seeing incomparably beautiful Tuscany. Valentina, our tour guide, was really helpful and a great communicator.

  • The biggest embarrassment of this to our is that I recommended for my family and It was so badly run that it was laughable.

Sorry but this actual tour was one in the worst tours I have been known for many years. It felt like being on a comedy show ie Fauly T towers.

The day started quite late after waiting over an hour for late passages for the tour. On the tour description it was stated that the cut-off was 8:30 AM to register but it seemed that at 945am we finally left Florence to head towards the Tuscany hills. This was quite upsetting for most on board as the air conditioning wasn't working for all passengers upstairs. Especially the ones near me who were looking out the western side of the bus as the windows were completely condensationed up and un visible for the entire tour. It seemed the bus was a little old and tired as the air conditioning didn't work for most of the day.

It seemed that there was a lack of organisation at the start of the day prior to the bus departing. This seemed to create quite amount of tension amongst many of the passages prior to boarding the bus. Added to the fact that the bus left late it didn't start on a good note.

We got to the first destination which certainly was quite impressive and same with the second destination of the old fort. Air conditioning continue to be a problem even though Staff had been notified and told that upstairs it was quite hot. It's saying that the driver of the bus didn't care for the welfare of the customers upstairs particularly as he was driving like Mario Andretti through the narrow road and passage ways of the Tuscany area.

We headed towards the next destination which was our lunch at a winery including some wine tasting. Upon arrival it was very noticeable to the entire group that the winetasting actually was only two small glasses of wine for a particular product that the winery pushed over lunch. Unfortunately the winery wasn't as enjoyable as we felt it should have been, as we were squashed in to the tables given our food as quickly as possible and then asked to leave. The winery owners and waiters were certainly quite arrogant and very pushy to buy their particular product. The wines were very expensive and we didn't feel that this was appropriate. When I asked for a beer from the menu it seemed like this was quite a problem for them.

Other notable problems on this Tour were the Guides. There was a female Guide who struggled with the English language and repeated herself many times with regards to points of interest and also general knowledge. There was also a German guide who is quite arrogant, unhelpful, lazy, to all the English speaking group as wel.

It seemed like a comedy show as many of the guides did not completely understand, were incompetent and lacked on what was going on.

We arrived in Siena for instance, we received headphones for the English speaking group. With so many passengers being English speaking close to on 50 It was quite disturbing to see the tour guide walk off yelling into her microphone and many of the tourists unable to hear or even keep up with her as she navigated the first section of this tour. She live as to the final destination meeting point, where she spoke to everybody about returning to this point prior to hopping on the bus. From here she was to continue the historic nature of the tour but many of the tourists on the tour decided to hand in their headphones as her commentary to this point was appalling.

After three hours in Siena, our bus return to Florence was quite uneventful, except for the fact that upon returning our bus stop was nearly 600 m away from where we could have been dropped off.

To any prospective tourists considering this to our please do not promote this as a whole and look for other options. The destinations that we went to was certainly impressive but the staff, transport, service, food and communication lacked any professionalism that showed
