Overview

One of best places for horse riding is to be found around the town of Hissar, in the very center of Bulgaria, equally close for all horse riding lovers. Nice side roads, on which galloping is like a flight, and the ending as you can imagine is in any of the numerous mineral swimming pools in the town.

You will meet your horse in the riding base Hissar. After some brief instructions you can start riding in the outskirts of Hissar along meadows, fields, vineyards and oak trees, following various routes either to the village of Starosel or to the mountains depending on how prepared the client is. The riding takes about 4-5 hours.

Short information about Hissar: The town is quite ancient with many Roman ruins, including a several km fortress wall, encircling the modern center. The place is well known for its 22 healing mineral springs. Nowadays Hisarya is a famous spa center with numerous hotels, guest houses and apartments. It's a well-known tourism destination in Bulgaria attracting many foreigners and Bulgarians.
