Stop At: Sam sharpe square

This cobblestone square gives visitors a snapshot of the city's history. It is lined with Georgian buildings side by side with modern structures as well. The Civic Centre is a reconstruction of the original Montego Bay Courthouse built in 1803 then was destroyed by fire in 1968. The fountain in the middle of the square is of cast iron and was donated by Captain J. Kerr, a banana baron.
