Overview

Travel to the local seaside town of Solomons Island, located less than 90-minutes away from Washington DC and Baltimore. Your itinerary includes a visit to relaxing outdoor sculpture garden and indoor arts center, a yummy lunch, a delicious wine tasting with a complimentary bottle of wine followed by dinner with amazing Potomac River views. All you do is drive. Lunch, dinner and all activities included.

Start your adventure at the reception desk of the Hilton Garden Inn Solomons at 9:45am. A packet with itinerary and directions will be ready to go. No tour guide is needed as all reservations have been made. All food, activities, instructors, and equipment are included.

From 10am to noon, explore the interwoven beauty of nature and art at the Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center. This charming garden features a quarter-mile walking path through the woods, past permanent and loaned sculptures, including works from the National Gallery of Art.

From 12:30 to 1:30pm, drive just down the road to the cozy Ruddy Duck Brewery and Grill for a delicious lunch.

Then head over the bridge for a wine tasting at the award-winning local winery from 2 to 3:30pm. Enjoy indoor and outdoor seating on the boundaries of a beautiful public park. A complimentary bottle of wine is included, per person.

At 4pm, have dinner at the Ruddy Duck Seafood and Alehouse, with amazing views of the Potomac. Local farm-to-table entrees are awaiting.
