It was a great introduction to Geneva. The tour of the international part of Geneva was great because it was our only exposure to it. The Old Town tour was a helpful introduction and orientation for our future touring.
The tour was great. First a bus took us around the international district near the UN. Then we transferred to a little train which toured the old city. The guide was amazing and well versed in the city.
How exciting to be looking out one bus window at the United Nations and the other the Red Cross! There were only four people on our tour: 2 English speaking and 2 French. Sebastian made us all comfortable with his ease of switching between languages. He was knowledgeable and friendly. It was so thrilling (even in pouring rain) to see the International area of Geneva. We joined a few more tourists on a small train through Old Town to further the tour. Luckily we all fit into the front car that had windows to shield us from the downpour. The Reformation Wall was a highlight (for me) of the second half of the tour.
Excellent knowledge of the city & very friendly staff. Well organised and efficient - excellent English translation for us to understand. Would definitely use again if coming to the city.
I would have liked to have seen more of the embassies on our tour, but it was interesting seeing the various headquarters. The stop at the broken chair was perfect., But I wish we had been able to go into the cathedral instead of just driving around out on the train. Overall I thought the tour was worth the price we paid.
Simple—a tour you could do not n your own!! Stick in traffic a lot of the time though it was a Saturday!!
The downtown experience in the small train is very nice.the guide was very nice, he explained the history very nicely of Geneva
The old part of the city with mini train was very well done. We would not be able to walk through so much and see in such short period of time everything.
The guide was very knowledgeable, fluent in English and French. Very helpful, gave us tips about where to shop ans what to look for.
The tour covered many different areas of the city; we got out and took pictures at two different spots. First you go in an open-window bus, then get off onto a mini train. You learn about history and culture along the way.
