I booked the trip a week before I went but apparently their email system had some problem. I dialed trheir number and the guy tells me to hang on, then proceeds to never call back, and pickcup and hang up when I do. After an hour and trying to email, I contacted a very nice person who did try to line me up with other tours but sadly, I couldnt reschedule. Joao was the only responsive and decent part of this exeprience but whoever is answering phones and hanging up on clients should be fired.

Unfortunately, our trip with this particular tour guide, Joao, was a true disappointment. I am traveling with my sister and elderly parents on our annual adventure and we were very excited to find a day trip to Sintra with so many stops. However, the trip turned out to be a $400 Uber ride with an incredibly rude guide who yelled at us at the end of the trip because we were a few minutes late. Joao reprimanded us harshly and drove us home, angry and silent, making my parents, who walk a bit slower than some, feel ashamed of their age. If you book this tour, please do yourself a favor and request a good guide who will care for you and your experience.

Daniel did a terrific job showing us the sites and giving us lots of background information on the places we visited. We had a great day. Wish we had a little more time on the tour to stop at the Casino at Estoril.

We had a wonderful day in Sintra! Our guide was very knowledgeable and very nice. He added in a tour of the gardens at Pena Palace, which has one of the highlights of the trip. It was clear he knew the ins-and-outs of the route and the sites, often pointing out additional things along the way. He made a huge effort to ensure the the bilingual tour treated everyone equally and we all received the same information. We had plenty of time at all of the sites, so we got to see everything we wanted. The only negative for the trip was that the phone number on the Viator voucher is no longer active, so we were unable to confirm our pick up time.
