This tour is the best experience we had while exploring Porto. The walk through the national park was great - not too hard but sufficiently challenging - and swimming in the freshwater pools was amazing and so refreshing. Rui and Tiago then made the activity complete as a learning experience. They were not only very friendly but also provided knowledge about the park and its history which only locals can provide, even from a social and political perspective. A truly great way to also contribute to sustainable tourism in Porto.

Our guide Rui was excellent. He arrived on time to pick us up . Kept us informed of where we were going . Gave us plenty of information about the local history & Geres . Took us to waterfalls where it was quiet . He knew secret locations. Other waterfalls were very overcrowded. He took us to very picturesque viewpoints. The picnic we had was delicious and we were taken to a lovely picnic area . We had a great day . Rui Largo was our guide and the tour was excellent and he was a great tour guide. I would recommend Detours highly.

I went on a trip with a small group to the Peneda-Gerês National-park and it was absolutely amazing. Our guide (Samuel) did an incredible job making everyone in the group feel safe and comfortable while exploring stunning views, waterfalls and old villages in the national park. It was definitely the best experience me and my friend had our entire stay in Porto and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to explore beautiful nature with a guide who knows all the best places!

I went on the trip with my friend, and we had the most amazing experience. All the places we went to were fantastic and so beautiful. I personally enjoyed every moment of the trip. Our tour guide, Samuel, was so kind and made the whole trip (including the drive) both exciting and fun. We many laughs and were able to try fun new challenges. Would recommend - 10/10.

Went on the tour to the Nation Park Geres yesterday and had an amazing time! Our guide Miguel was a hero, really nice and friendly and funny, and always making sure everyone was safe (and felt safe) while doing some of the trickier hiking parts. We swam in 2 beautiful waterfall pools which I would never have found, saw lots of beautiful places, ate a nice lunch and all while letting Miguel handle the crazy narrow and twisty mountain roads. The vibe on the tour was really nice and it was worth every penny. At the end Miguel gave some tips on where to watch the sunset and even dropped me off at the top of a hill so I didn't have to climb up it myself! I imagine the other tours are also good, but I can wholeheartedly recommend the national park tour.

Miguel our guide was friendly and knowledgeable! We had a great crew of people from different countries that made our trip more enjoyable. And of course the parks was magnificent with 2 waterfalls and views. Overall a fun adventure!

This was a great tour, and a great way to get an overview of the park. Our guide, Marco, was amazing, and very knowledgeable. Just don’t expect a 10k hike, the trip advisor description is misleading. Instead we went to many different points of interest with small hikes at each. Overall it was a great day.

We really enjoyed our experience even though it was a very hot day. Samuel helped us to pace ourselves and made sure everyone had a great time, and we had a couple of times to cool off in the refreshing waters and see some great views and waterfalls. I would 100% recommend to anyone who wants to get out in nature and see this incredible park. He was also very knowledgeable and explained different historical facts and cultural highlights. Way beyond my expectations.
