  This was such a fantastic day of adventure and knowledge! Our guide (Lucy) knew exactly everything that was needed to be known and where to go when we saw the pandas in the morning. She truly loves to give you all the knowledge she can about where she grew up. She even gave us great recommendations on what we can do on our free day before leaving. Highly recommend doing this tour when in chengdu!

  Tour consisted of visit to Chengdu Panda Research Base and a trip to Leshan to see the Buddha statue. Clara was our guide and was engaging throughout, and provided many insights into the region as well as the history of the landmarks that we were visiting. Overall an excellent day out with a great guide and driver!

  Teresa is a friendly guide and conversational in English. Gave good recommendations during lunch and provide good explanations throughout the trip.

  We've decided to engage this 1 day tour even though exploring Chengdu on our own is very easy by using their subway system because of the distance to the Leshan Buddha and all the attraction tickets already included. They even provided us with a private chauffeured car which is in a excellent condition. Our guide, Teresa is a wonderful lady and she's very informative and guided us through the entire tour smoothly. At the end, she's more like a friend to us than just a tour guide. Keep up the great work Teresa!

  Our guide Judy was great. Pandas were amazing. I think the 3 hour drive each way for the Giant Buddha is not worth it. The local food on the Leshan Mountain was delicious. The Buddha was giant, as advertised. But I'd skip it next time. Just see the pandas and find something else to do for the rest of your day.

  We had Lucy Liu as our tour guy for the one day trip to panda base & giant budda. First of all, she was very knowledgeable, not only about the tour itself, but a lot of other things, such as Chinese Literature. We chat a lot on the way to panda base & giant budda, which was very sweet during the long distant driving. But, Lucy knows very well when to stop so we could rest as well. Second, I like the way she treated us like we were her family. She would tell us what was the right price to buy local specialities. The whole day with her, we didn't feel pressured. We felt very comfortable with her, which we valued the most important thing when we travel around. I would recommend Lucy to anyone who is going to visit Chengdu or other nearby cities.

  Lucy our tour guide was very good! Had very good English and very accommodating to our personal needs. Knew where and when to go to see the active pandas and skip the queues, saving so much time. Drive to Leshan Buddha required emergency stop which we were very grateful for. Gave us different options for lunch depending on budget. Took some good photos of us with Leshan Buddha. Very knowledgeable of Chengdu including restaurant recommendations. Awesome!

  I only had one day in Chengdu and was hoping to make the most out of it. I booked the one day Giant Panda and Leshan Giant Buddha private tour. I was worried because of the distance between the two sites but it turned out to be super easy. My guide Carol, who spoke English perfectly was super helpful. Her and the driver picked me up at 7:30 am to drive to the Panda Research base. During our drive she taught me about the city of Chengdu and the pandas. She’s very knowledge and knew a lot about Chengdu’s history. I saw many different kind of pandas and Carol was able to navigate through the park very smoothly. She always knew where to go, to see the next panda. After we saw all pandas, including the red pandas, we headed to our next stop - Leshan Giant Buddha. The drive was quicker than expected, it roughly took 2,5 hours. Carol was able to tell me interesting facts about the tea plantations and areas between Chengdu and Leshan. Upon arrival, Carol took me to a local spot for lunch. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very nice. Afterwards we went on a boat ride to see the in rock carved Buddha. I would recommend taking a boat because you have the best views of the Buddha. Our boat changed its’ position a few times, for all guests on board to get the most amazing pictures. Not only was Carol super helpful throughout the trip, organizing all the tickets in advance and having a route organized, she also recommended a hot pot restaurant for dinner to me, and even wrote down all the things I should order. I can highly recommend her and the tour.

  Overall it was a very good experience. Our tour guide Kay was very helpful and friendly. He speaks fluent English and has provided a lot of interesting information about Chengdu. The food and restaurants he recommended was delicious and reasonable priced. The driver was also very professional. It was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend to anyone who is considering in a private tour for Chengdu! Also thanks to Kay for helping us rehome a stray dog that we came across in LeShan!!

  I thoroughly enjoyed my day tour with Cecila- she was so knowledgeable, helping us navigate the Panda Base to see best sights amongst the throngs of people. Also visited the leshan Buddha by boat which was amazing! Great lunch and coffee stops, great company and shared so much history with me.. couldn’t recommend more highly
