Know More about this tour

Leave central Belfast in the morning and head to the first stop is Carrickfergus Castle -- a striking Norman castle thats said to be one of the best preserved in Northern Ireland. Enjoy a photo stop here, and hear from your guide how it was built in the 12th century to guard the approach to Belfast Lough.
Head northeast along the Antrim Coast by luxury coach. To the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, an exhilarating crossing that connects the mainland to Carrick-a-Rede Island. Feeling brave? Take a walk across it (own expense) and try hard not to look down at the 100-foot (30-meter) drop! If you prefer to keep your feet firmly on dry land, your guide will point you in the right direction for a bracing walk along the magnificent headland.
We have lunch in the lovely village of Ballintoy in a local pub offering home made traditional food.
Hop back on board your bus and continue to the Old Bushmills Distillery, where the famous Bushmills Irish whiskey is produced. Browse tempting wares in the gift shop and then head off to see the incredible Giants Causeway!
As Northern Irelands first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Giants Causeway is sure to impress! The fascinating natural wonder consists of hexagonal rock columns that somehow fit together like a baffling puzzle. Climb the ancient stones that line the coastline, and hear the myths surrounding their appearance from a professional National Trust guide. A popular tale is that the rocks were created as giant stepping stones for the fabled Irish giant Finn Mac Cool, so that he could cross the sea to Scotland.
After enjoying Giants Causeway, board your coach and travel south, stopping to admire the ancient ruins of Dunluce Castle, a once-important medieval stronghold. After a short walk around, return to central Belfast where your tour ends.

  • arrived at our departure point on time but left late. this was our only downside of the trip, after that it was spot on!
McCombs was the coach company used and TROY was our driver for the day and he never stopped. driver/comedian/tour guide all thrown in to one lol
first port of call was the Carrick Rope Bridge. weather was against us but it did not stop our enjoyment.
then to lunch before we stopped off at the worlds oldest Distillery. just a look around the shop here, not enough time for a tour!
then up to the Giants Causeway. again weather was against us but we payed for a guide Bacca to talk to us about how it was formed etc and the history of the area!
once down there the weather turned bad but made my expierence more rememberable. middle of summer this place is heaving but winter months less people about!
next we headed back to Belfast and arrived @ 6pm

  • Loved this tour. Our tour guide was excellent and very informative. Would definitely recommend.

  • The guide/driver was absolutely amazing. But there were places like hedges and the GOT throne place that he had mentioned we would visit, but we didnt. We even didnt visit the Dunluce castle that was part of the trip.

  • Quite a long day on tight winding roads, only a quick stop at Carrickfergus castle, no time to go in. Lunch at the Fullerton arms in Ballintoy was very good. There is a 15 minute walk from the coach park to both the Giants causeway and the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, although the giants causeway has a shuttle bus if required.

  • I loved this tour. Northern Ireland is so beautiful that just driving around on the bus would have made for a memorable day but everywhere we stopped took my breath away and I was able to text pictures home that made all of my friends envious.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • Our driver, Ray, was terrific and loves to share information about events and locations along the way which made our experience that much more enjoyable!

  • Andy was an amazing tour guide! Such a wonderful tour and highly recommended. One of the most memorable things we did on our trip!

  • Other than the rain we encountered which is to be expected, this tour was perfect. The Northern Coast is beautiful. You see some Game of Thrones filming locations and walk the rope bridge which is super fun. You view seven coastal towns along the glens. Giant's Causeway is a great stop. If you do the walking tour it will greatly limit the time you have at the actual site.

  • Excellent tour really good day out.
