You will spend approximately four to five hours in Gibraltar. You will be accompanied by a guide on the coach who will introduce you to the area and help with any queries you might have. However, when you hit the shops, your time is your own and you will be set free to roam from one retail paradise to the next and shop until you drop, or at least until it is time to board the coach again for the journey back to Costa del Sol.

Overview
Once you have been picked up, the coach will take you on a drive along the coastal road to Gibraltar. The city center is long and narrow, extending along Main Street. Picked up at 7.30am, took roughly 3 hours to get there which you expect picking up at other hotels and resorts. What I didn't expect was to have to be back on the coach by 3.15pm which meant you rushed everywhere conscious of the pick up time. The experience in Gibraltar was not to be missed just a shame we had so little time there.

This was a great trip, the coach was prompt, the driver and guide Barry great and very helpful. They made the trip very enjoyable
and even dropped us off nearer our hotel than where we had got on. Great service -
Bus did not arrive on day of planned tour.Waited one hour.Had to go back to hotel to contact tour operator who said they had gone to different pickup point!! Thankfully we could go the next day but really we had wasted at least 2 hours of a day and had to rearrange other plans. Not good enough no real apology. When we eventually did tour it was fine but you really need to do rock tour.Overall trip good but rather expensive for what you got.

Good quality coach, friendly, knowledgable and multi-lingual guide, good value trip. Thats all you need to know really !

The tour served its purpose in that it took us to Gibralta and back. However the coach was 30 minutes late and we spent 2 hours each way picking up and dropping off at hotels in the resort which more than doubled the travel time.

Bus picked me up at Hotel within a few minutes of stated time. Coach very comfortable. Quite a long delay at the border as the Spanish continue to make an issue, but still had a full 4 hours in Gibraltar. Guide friendly and informative. Excellent value for a day trip.

A BRILLIANT DAY OUT . coach very comfy nice driving. lots of shops what more could you ask for GO THE VIATOR WAY ITS THE BEST

The pros - Gibraltar is lovely, excellent for duty free and worth a visit.
The cons - The bus took 3 1/2 hours to get there from Torremolinos by the time we had made all the pick up stops, so we got to Gibraltar at midday and we had to be back on the coach at 4pm. Booking it as the shopping tour, you basically just get the bus fare included and that's it. We were dropped at the bus station but not given any map or directions of where to walk to the town, which is a 10 minute walk each way to the square. We just about had time to do the cable car ride up to the rock, lunch and a quick look around the shops, which actually closed at 3pm on a Saturday.
Summary: Whilst we had an enjoyable afternoon, it was a rush in the 4 hours we had there. More information would have been appreciated.
Tips: Do not go on a Saturday as the shops close at 3pm. Get a map from the tourist office for free rather than paying £1 out of the machines. If you are not an independent type of traveller, book this trip with the rock tour etc included. Finally if you want more than 4 hours in Gibraltar, consider other options. -
Guide not as pleasant as last year told pickup was 8 45am guide came and got us from breakfast at 8 35am told us that we were late and pickup was up the road we had only been on the coach 5minutes and stopped for a toilet break in the dirtiest garage/cafe with toilets so disgusting you couldn't use

Too much time wasted on the way to Gibraltar, including a 25minute stop at a motorway service station, which left only 3.5 hrs. in Gibraltar
