I do not recommend this trip if you're younger than 60. It's basically a ride in a bus, you have like 5 stops 4 of which are in commercial places (Cafes/Restaurants/Souvenir shops) in the middle of nowhere just to spend money and eat, and just one stop to really see something (The Three sisters). The rest of the time you are sitting on the bus hearing stories from the driver, which were great! But I wouldn't spend my money and my time on that. The boat ride on Loch Ness is also not worth the price. They should warn you beforehand and not promote that you're gonna be able to have a great trip and have amazing stops.

Wonderful views, recommend for anyone wanting to see majestic highlands. Ride and stare out and enjoy the stops in between.

Apart from the weather the over all trip was good. John was a great host and kept the entire trip lively

Our tour guide Paul was just brilliant! The history which he told us, the singing, the jokes, the legends about the Scots, the singing and entertainment was amazing ! Definitely worth doing this trip! Have no words to describe the views of the Highlands, the Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness … just breathtaking :)

Had a wonderful time on this tour! It was the highlight of our trip to Scotland. Neil & Martin were better than I could have anticipated, and I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Scotland!

Favorite part of the trip was the Three Sisters of Glencoe photo stop. Wish the trip had a more detailed description. It was not what we were expecting. We had very little time at each stop to explore. We thought we would be in a town near Loch Ness to be able to walk around on our own since we weren’t interested in the excursion. We ended up stopping at the complete opposite end with very little to do. Also we had very little time in Pitlochry and almost everything was closed when we got there. The driver/guide was very knowledgeable about the areas we were driving through however.

The guide was brilliant how he he talked and drove that coach and remebered every thing was amazing , Felt very safe and he was so knowledgable. My only down side was the lunch stop you cannot eat your own lunch in the "restaurant " I'd call it a cafeteria , they were rude and impolite when they told us we couldn't eat our own food , there are no signs up saying you cant and the queues are so long that if they take too long to bring your food it makes you late if it raining you have to stay on the coach , so My advice would be take your own food as it didn't look very appetising. But it did not spoil the day overall it waz a great day thankyou

This tour was the highlight of our trip. We were visiting England and decided to catch a train into Edinburgh. While there we decided to take the tour even though it was very long and would have taken the whole day. However, our tour guide, Allen, made it completely worth it. He was very knowledgeable and passionate. He was able to give substantial amounts of history that gave context to what we were seeing. I was amazed at how beautiful the Highlands were. We have zero regrets for taking the tour.. A few things to note: yes there is a lot of driving. Yes you spend a lot of time in the coach car. Arrive early if you want to assure that you are seated next to you the person you're traveling with. Wear layers it's very cold in the Highlands. Bring snacks if you think you will need some on the road but there are stops for food. The food is not great but you won't starve to death. It was helpful to have electronic devices and a battery pack. Although there were USB charging stations on the bus, mine was not working. There are other buses that come to the same sites. We took the tour on a Sunday and so maybe that made it more manageable. So consider which day you take the tour and it may help some of the complaints others have had about crowding at the stops. Overall completely enjoyable and we are very grateful to Allen for a wonderful tour
