Make your way to the prearranged meeting point in central Dublin on the day of your tour. Then, after meeting with your guide, hop aboard an air-conditioned coach and travel south toward County Wicklow, known as the Garden of Ireland.
Gaze out of the windows as you travel through rural Ireland, taking in postcard-perfect views of rolling green countryside and the wild bogland and heather fields of Sally gap, where scenes from Braveheart were filmed. Youll also learn about the legend and folklore that surrounds Glencree Valley.
Stop at the picturesque Lough tay, otherwise known as Guinness Lake, a small lake set in the Wicklow mountains that resembles a pint of the black stuff. Then, perhaps recreate your very own P.S. I Love You moment at the bridge where Holly and Gerry kissed in the hit film.
Continue on to Glendalough, nestled in Wicklow mountains national park. Renowned for its stunning natural beauty and history, the 6th-century monastic settlement is one of Irelands most visited spots. With up to two hours to spend here, stroll around the sites scattered ruins, which include the famous Round Tower, and learn about St Kevin, the founder of the ancient monastery. If theres time, you might wish to take a stroll through the woods to the pretty lower or Upper lake.
Then its on to Johnnie Foxs Pub, located in the highest village in Ireland. Tuck into a hearty Irish lunch and maybe toast to a wonderful day with a measure of Irish whiskey (both at your own expense).
With your appetite sated, return to Dublin, where your tour concludes with a drop-off in the city center.

Don was a great tour guide with lots of helpful tidbits along the way. He also took good care knowing that I’m flying solo so that I don’t get lost. Had the right balance of occupied and free time. Definitely recommend the tour!

I like the tour very much. Iean was really great driver and speaker :-)
Thank you so much for so many positive emotions)) -
Our guide/driver Richie was most excellent in driving and knowledge. Had no idea Ireland had boggy mountain tops and beautiful forests at the same time. Pretty country.

We had a great trip and will strongly recommend it.
Very beautiful country side, and the lower lake.
We visited Powers court gardens instead of the bridge from PS I love you. Amazing garden -
Richie, the driver, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and was very entertaining. He could really maneuver the bus on those narrow Irish streets. Fitzgeralds pub was also really good for lunch the Bailey's cheesecake was especially delicious. Definitely would recommend everything.

I would recommend this trip to every Dublin-visitor!
Our guide Richie was super professional :
he knew a lot and told us interesting stories - a very nice person!
( he also noticed and showed us many animals during the tour!)
Many thanks and greetings to Richie from the finnish visitors!
All the tour attractions were beautiful and interesting.
Glendalough was our favourite!
2hours was enough to walk aroud the old monastery-site and around the beautiful lakes.
The last stop in the lovely Avoca-village gave us a great extra experience :
we saw a pod of big falcons ( Milvus milvus) flying slowly and low above Avoca ! -
Had such a fun trip and the tour guide and driver were excellent. All the stops we made were so picturesque and am so pleased we booked to go. Perfect day out and had enough time at each stop off to walk around and enjoy the beauty around us. In particular Guinness Lake and Wicklow mountains were just stunning, would love to go back again one day. Only thing we weren’t keen on was that at the end of the day, the guide/ driver had got chatting to a selection of people sat at the front of the bus and when driving home they stopped randomly at points to let different couples get off so it was convenient for their hotel. I know it was a nice thing to do but if they do for a few people they should offer drop off service for everyone. If we were at the front we could’ve got off earlier and not be ferried back to where we met at the beginning in town centre.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Our tour guide, the transportation and the altered itinerary due to Christmas closures were all great. I def recommend using this tour company if you are ever in Dublin. Tour guide was knowledgeable, helpful and extremely funny!
