We will pick you up from your hotel/hostel on time. Then, we will head out to the Mud Volcano which is located near the Gobustan Museum. Azerbaijan's mud volcanoes definitely should be part of any tourist's itinerary. So many of them are within close proximity to Baku, especially, those at Alyat, Gobustan and other locations. Optionally, you can jump into a volcano and swim. The mud volcanos are beneficial for your skin! After exploring mud volcanoes, we will continue our tour to Gobustan National Museum. Gobustan was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011, considered to be of "outstanding universal value" for the quality and density of its rock art engravings, for the substantial evidence the collection of rock art images presents for hunting, fauna, flora, and lifestyles in pre-historic times. During the second part of the tour, we will visit amuseum where we will get initial information about Gobustan Rock Arts and later on, the tour will continue in an open air museum. In this part of the museum as a visitor, you will have a great opportunity to take an even closer look at ancient rocks. Your tour guide will make your visit even more remarkable by telling interesting stories about the rocks and place itself.
