  • Excellent trip, van groups are much better than the Big Buss, was very impressed with our driver---he was an Icelander, intelligent, spoke perfect english, and took us to at least 6 sights that weren't on the advertised trip. This young man was in no hurry, gave us as much time to Look as we wanted, the only criteria was to get us back to the ship before sailing. We had a bonus sight that even excited our driver---a sheep roundup, estimated to be 3000, herded across the highway in front of us, that held up traffic for near an hour! The sight included all the herders, horses, dogs, 4-wheelers, and trucks--with the sheep bellering all the way. Iceland is a unique and wonderful place.

  • First of all, we were picked up alongside the ship in a mini van, we do not need to be transferred to a bus. The 4G wifi provided on the van is very fast. Our guide and driver, Mr. Hawk is fantastic. We love him, He took care of us above and beyond his duty. He is very knowledgeable and super experienced. He treated us with coffe / free sweet organic straw berries and took us to pet the Iceland horses. It is in additional to all the points of interests specified on your website. He knows the trick to avoid crowd and paying fees for toilet. He is delightful and very pleasant. I would recomend this tour without any reservation.

  • We all had a wonderful time. Iceland is an interesting and beautiful place. But, the best part of the tour was our guide. Tomas so clearly loves his country and he has a real talent for sharing that affection with his guests. We all thought he was one of the best guides we've ever had.

  • The minibus that picked us up from our hotel was extremely comfortable and although it wasn't a private tour, we happened to be the only family my husband, 2 kids and I and 1 other person. The guide Anton was very knowledgeable and stopped for pictures and let us spend as much time as we needed in each spot. Iceland is beautiful and this tour is just a snapshot of the country. The volcanic crater lake, hot springs and geysers capture the raw beauty of the place. Our guide even recommended what to order for lunch and the lamb soup we had was tasty and sumptuous. Will definitely return and spend more time and will book with the same tour agin!!

  • Anton's tour of the Golden Cirlce was great. I am thankful we choose the minibus option as it offered a more personalized experience with direct interaction with our knowledge guide. Anton provided many extra bonus stops along the way that provided more insight to our experience.

  • We had a weather delay in leaving the US so were unable to make the time for the scheduled mini-bus Golden Circle tour. The tour operator worked with us and was able to arrange a wonderful private Golden Circle Tour with Tomas, our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, In addition to the unique and magnificent natural scenery, Tomas was able to give us a feel and taste of how Icelanders live and lived on this fascinating island. We sampled spring water that hadn't seen light for 40 years, had the best tomato soup at the place it is grown, and eat ice cream while watching the cows who gave the milk. Learned that an Icelandic horse has a gate that allows the rider to cover rough ground rapidly without spilling beer from his/her glass -now that was something you don't see every day. Our guide planned an excellent tour for us and did it on the fly. Very professional with the right amount of knowledge and humor.

  • There were only six of us in the minivan which made it very much like a private tour. The tour guide was knowlegible and very personable. And we had a really fun time.

  • Wonderful excursion made better by our tour guide, Hawk. We only had a day in Iceland so this tour was ideal for us. If you book ask for Hawk who is a native who can trace his roots back to the. Ikings. Good value for the money.

  • Our family experience with Back to Iceland, Golden Circle Tour was truly special. Our guide loves Iceland and shared so many details and took us to places making our visit special for each of us. The tomato farm, ice cream shop on a dairy farm, sweet small waterfall, blue berry picking, local library and bakery, geyser, the ancient parliament site and of course the Golden Falls. Even the explanation of the tectonic plates and how Iceland is separating was made so clear to us. First rate company for sure. Highly recommended.

  • It was an amazing experience. Thomas our tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
