  • We had a fantastic trip with 'Back to Iceland' on 1st Feb 2018. We saw all of the Golden Circle sights but also a number of other stoops other tour providers didn't offer including a volcano and an incredible tomato farm. The tour guides were exceptionally friendly and very knowledgable. This was, by far, the best tour we had on our trip to Iceland, much better than the larger company coach tours we also went on which lacked the character of this tour. Strongly recommend.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • Fantastic trip with Back to Iceland Travel. Informative, fun guide, beautiful destinations with plenty of time to explore, some extra stops, and my daughter and I and a company photographer ended up on a private tour! Couldn't have arranged a better day. Highly recommend!

  • Thomas was incredible and we loved the small Minibus with just 7 people!! The tomato farm was fabulous!!!! Loved it!!!!

  • Our mini-bus tour turned into a private tour with Hawk as there were only 2 of us. A fabulous day, Hawk was a fabulous guide, full of interesting information, history of the country, etc. highly recommend!

  • Our guide, Hawks, was wonderful-he was informative and adapted the tour to our interests. I would highly recommend taking this minibus tour.

  • Excellent trip, van groups are much better than the Big Buss, was very impressed with our driver---he was an Icelander, intelligent, spoke perfect english, and took us to at least 6 sights that weren't on the advertised trip. This young man was in no hurry, gave us as much time to Look as we wanted, the only criteria was to get us back to the ship before sailing. We had a bonus sight that even excited our driver---a sheep roundup, estimated to be 3000, herded across the highway in front of us, that held up traffic for near an hour! The sight included all the herders, horses, dogs, 4-wheelers, and trucks--with the sheep bellering all the way. Iceland is a unique and wonderful place.

  • First of all, we were picked up alongside the ship in a mini van, we do not need to be transferred to a bus. The 4G wifi provided on the van is very fast. Our guide and driver, Mr. Hawk is fantastic. We love him, He took care of us above and beyond his duty. He is very knowledgeable and super experienced. He treated us with coffe / free sweet organic straw berries and took us to pet the Iceland horses. It is in additional to all the points of interests specified on your website. He knows the trick to avoid crowd and paying fees for toilet. He is delightful and very pleasant. I would recomend this tour without any reservation.

  • We all had a wonderful time. Iceland is an interesting and beautiful place. But, the best part of the tour was our guide. Tomas so clearly loves his country and he has a real talent for sharing that affection with his guests. We all thought he was one of the best guides we've ever had.

  • The minibus that picked us up from our hotel was extremely comfortable and although it wasn't a private tour, we happened to be the only family my husband, 2 kids and I and 1 other person. The guide Anton was very knowledgeable and stopped for pictures and let us spend as much time as we needed in each spot. Iceland is beautiful and this tour is just a snapshot of the country. The volcanic crater lake, hot springs and geysers capture the raw beauty of the place. Our guide even recommended what to order for lunch and the lamb soup we had was tasty and sumptuous. Will definitely return and spend more time and will book with the same tour agin!!
